NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. No entry will be refunded if the trial cannot be opened or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dog and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees will be made. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on their entry forms; illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered into the show. All entries must be made on Official AKC Entry Forms or copies and must include the Agreement and Rules. No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Handlers may opt to run in a higher height division, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Bitches in season shall not be eligible to participate. PDCA will retain $10 (for expenses) from the first entry of a dog entered in agility, that is withdrawn due to being in season. If the bitch is on site, verification must be made by the Show Chairman or Chairman s designee. A veterinarian letter, on the practice s letterhead, will be accepted if submitted after closing and no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class of the day of the trial. REFUNDS: There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn in the event a dog and/or handler are injured, absent, or dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of management it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Refunds are allowed if requested before the closing date. Refunds after closing date for bitches in season only. Injured dogs are not permitted to compete in agility trials. Choke collars pinch collars, electric and dummy electric collars are prohibited on the trial grounds. Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group if they wish. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. The owner or handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their own dogs. Please help us keep this site clean future use. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a $20 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. No refunds will be given for overpayment less than $10.00 Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a cash only basis. AVMA Statement: Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Crate mats are needed under crates. There is plenty of crating space.
