STANDARDS FOR ENCLOSURES FORM B (Sections 4.3, 4.9 and 6.15) Enclosures must be securely enclosed and locked and designed with secure sides, tops and bottoms, as appropriate, and must be designed to prevent the dog from escaping from the Enclosure. Minimum standards for fences, runs and pens for dogs within Westbank Lands shall be as follows: Pens: Runs: Fences: 3 ft wide x 5 ft long per dog, or 5 ft wide x 5 ft long per two dogs 4 ft wide x 12 ft long to be of adequate height to contain the dog being enclosed, being a minimum of 6 ft in height, and to have a self-locking gate.

STANDARDS FOR DOG KENNELS FORMC (Section 3.13) Subject to the requirements of any Westbank First Nation building related law and amendments thereto, minimum standards for dog kennels for boarding, raising and training of dogs on Westbank Lands are as follows: 1. Sizes: Cages and pens within a kennel building shall be: 3 ft wide x 5 ft long per dog; or 5 ft wide x 5 ft long per two dogs. Runs: 4 ft wide x 12 ft long 2. Kennels must be constructed of one or more of the following materials: (d) (e) (f) (g) (h) (i) concrete; cement block; metal; brick; tile; stone; wood (preferably fireproof); fibre glass (kennel units and bed platforms, only); chain link fencing. 3. Heat and Ventilation: Dry - ventilation, as required, depending on the size of the unit and number of animals kenneled in the building. Heat - capable of reaching a minimum of 16 degrees Celsius and not to exceed 25 degrees Celsius. 4. The design of the kennels must: be within buildings that are weatherproof, odor resistant, rodent resistant; and make provision for adequate lighting, heat, ventilation, drainage and disease preventative features. 5. Floors must be constructed of any of the following materials, provided that the surface is treated or covered with a moisture resistant seal: wood planking; concrete; other materials which provide the same degree of imperviousness.

- 2-6. Runs must include a floor, sidewalls and roof. Material used must be chain link fencing or similar material. 7. Beds must be raised platforms preferably made of wood or fiberglass and placed in an area away from drafts. 8. Gates: All gates must be equipped with a self-locking device.
