Sale Cages Poultry sale cages are available on a first come first serve basis to exhibitors only ($3.00 each). No more than 4 birds in a cage. Please include your payment and number of sale cages required with your entry. We will have sales areas of 10x10 will be available for $20. Available on a first come first serve basis. THE SALE OR TRADE OF UNTESTED BIRDS ON SHOW GROUNDS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! Only exhibitors are permitted to sell birds at our show and they must be sold from within the show building. Poultry Rules 1) All poultry must meet the PA Dept. of Agriculture health requirement a) DUE TO THE AVIAN INFLUENZA OUTBREAK IN THE MIDWEST, PROOF OF NEGATIVE AI TESTING IS REQUIRED AT CHECK-IN. b) All animals must be free of infectious and contagious diseases. c) The state of Pennsylvania requires that all poultry shown or for sale must be pullorum/typhoid free. In state exhibitors must be tested for AI/Pullorum within 90 days of the show date. Out of state exhibitors must be tested within 30 days of the show date for AI/Pullorum. Exhibitors with flocks on US NPIP 90 day Avian Clean Flock are exempt from the 30 day requirement. If there are any questions or concerns feel free to call show secretary at 610-823-2831. 2) Entered specimens must be bona fide property of the exhibitor 30 days or longer before the opening day of the show. 3) All birds entered for exhibition shall be free of external parasites. 4) Lebanon Valley Poultry Fanciers will supply coops. Exhibitor will be in charge of all feedings. Shavings will be available. 5) It is to be understood that there will be classes for young and adult males and females in all breeds and varieties as listed in the Standard of Perfection. 6) Coop in will be 5:00-9:00 PM the 9 th, and 6:00-9:00 AM the 10 th. Judging will start at 9:00 AM. Release time will be after awards. 7) The American Standard of Perfection of the American Poultry Association and the Bantam Standard of the American Bantam Association will govern poultry judging. 8) A bird can only compete for one prize, except as provided for in special awards. 9) The management reserves the right to make any alterations which may seem necessary for the success of the exhibition. Furthermore, the management reserves the privilege of refusing any entries which are not deemed desirable for the best interest of the show or those not entered on any entry blank. 10) No specimen is to be handled by anyone other than the owner, judge, and show secretary unless permission is given by owner. 11) No person shall interfere with the judge in any manner while in the performance of his duties as a judge. 12) All rules apply to Open and Youth Shows. 4

DISTRICT MEET 7 x 9 Engraved Plaques to Champion and Reserve Champion Bantam Rosettes will be awarded for Champion and Reserve for all seven bantam divisions Plus a free listing in the upcoming ABA Yearbook. Star pins will be awarded to all wins in classes of 100 or more. Bantam Bucks awarded to all class and reserve of class wins. All wins in Classes of 100 or more will be denoted with a star * and be retained in the ABA records to accumulate towards the Master Exhibitor, Master Breeder, and Lifetime Achievement awards. Only ABA members are eligible to compete for the above awards. Dues are $20.00 per year $50.00 for three years. New members receive a copy of the quarterly and the latest available copy of the Annual American Bantam Association Year Book which lists many advertisers and includes a complete breed and variety index. Winners of ABA awards are listed in the year book under Who's Who in Bantams. 5

Starred wins are earned in classes of 100 or more in the following: - Champions and Reserve Champions in the seven bantam divisions. - Best and Reserve of Breed and Variety. - Best Display when 7 or more bantam displays are shown - Best and Reserve Display when 10 or more bantam displays are shown. - Best and Reserve Trio when 30 or more trios are shown by 4 or more exhibitors. A single bird is eligible for only one award and can earn only one starred win. *****Awards are subject to change. The chicken has one hour to make its selection if business is not completed by then, the Chicken Poop Bingo Judge will draw a ticket out randomly. Breeders Auction We will be having a Breeders Auction featuring breeding birds from prominent breeders. So come to see what you can add to your flock! 10

Skillathon 1 st Place $30, 2 nd Place 20, 3 rd Place $15, 4 th Place $10 and 5 th Place $5 Prizes donated by Birds of a Different Feather Poultry Club in memory of Carolyn Blum A Skillathon is a written test on general poultry knowledge, including breed ID, diseases, anatomy, hatching and general care. With this being the first year, all ages will compete together. In the future we hope to have age groups. The skillathon will be organized by Valerie Miller. Junior Show The Junior show will be held along with the open show. The birds will be judged in the Open show and Junior show. It is one fee for the open show. Birds must be entered in the Open show to be shown in the Junior show. MARK ENTRY FORM JUNIOR! Twin City Poultry Supply We are pleased to have Twin City Poultry Supply attending this years show! Exhibitor may only enter one entry per class. 2. Entries will receive ribbons for 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd. 3. Entries will be judged on: a. Exterior Quality uniformity of size, shape, color, shell texture and condition. b. Interior Quality c. Ideal total weight is 24-27 ounces per dozen 4. Entries Will be disqualified for: a.
