USE: This product is a suspo-emulsion. A combination anthelmintic drench combined with selenium and cobalt supplements for sheep raised in selenium or cobalt deficient areas. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ACUTE EFFECTS SWALLOWED: Swallowing of the concentrate may result in nausea, vomiting and central nervous system depression. If the victim is unco-ordinated there is a greater likelihood of vomit entering the lungs and causing subsequent complications. The product is considered harmful if swallowed, when classified according to the Worksafe Criteria. The product may also be harmful to unborn children. EYE: The product may cause irritation and damage to the eyes. SKIN: Acute dermal toxicity has not been determined for this product but based on data available for the components, dermal toxicity is expected to be slight. INHALED: The product is of very low volatility and at normal temperatures will not present a problem. CHRONIC EFFECTS: The product has not been tested as a whole, however repeated or prolonged exposure may lead to a dermatitis response in some individuals. When this product is used according to the directions, prolonged exposure of man is not expected. Chronic effects information is available for some of the active components and is reported as follows: ALBENDAZOLE Teratogenic effects (birth defects) or toxicity to developing offspring occurred in studies with rats, rabbits, sheep and pigs. These effects usually occurred at dose levels that also produced maternal toxicity. Rat reproductive toxicity studies showed only minimal effects on male and female reproduction. No target organ effects are known to occur in humans. LEVAMISOLE HYDROCHLORIDE There is some evidence that long term Levamisole hydrochloride poisoning will cause effects to the endocrine system, in particular to the spleen, further effects on the KIDNEY, URETER and BLADDER including changes in tubules (including acute renal failure, acute tubular necrosis) will also occur. Also, changes in serum (blood) composition have been reported. IVERMECTIN has tested negative in several mutagenicity studies. Ivermectin was administered to dogs daily for 3 months and to monkeys daily for 2 weeks. In dogs there was no effect up to 500 mcg/kg/day and in adult rhesus monkeys there was no effect at the maximum dose used 1.2 mg/kg/day. At higher doses in dogs there was dilation of the pupils, and at still higher doses tremor and anorexia were noted. Ivermectin can be given during gestation in horses, cattle, pigs and sheep. FIRST AID SWALLOWED: If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label or contact the Poisons Information Centre on (in Australia). Make every effort to prevent vomit from entering the lungs by careful placement of the patient. EYE: If product has entered the eye, immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held open. Contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. SKIN:

Wash affected area with copious amounts of soap and water. If irritation persists contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. INHALED: Remove victim from exposure avoid becoming a casualty. Remove contaminated clothing and loosen remaining clothing. Seek medical advice if effects persist. FIRST AID FACILITIES: ADVICE TO DOCTOR: Treat symptomatically. If vomiting has occurred, be aware of possible oedema originating from solvent or surfactants in lung. TOXICITY DATA: The product has not been tested as a whole, however information is available for some of the active components and is reported as follows: ALBENDAZOLE Toxicity to mammals: Acute oral LD50 (rats) 1320 to 2400 mg/kg Acute oral LD50 (mice) >3000 mg/kg Acute oral LD50 (rabbits) >500 mg/kg This material was classified as a non-irritant to rabbit skin and eye. There was no evidence of skin or eye irritation following direct application in rabbits. This material was categorized as a non-sensitiser or guinea pig skin (Buehler Test). Allergic reactions rarely occur in humans. Reproductive effects: Rat reproductive toxicity studies showed only minimum effects on male female reproduction. Teratogenic effects: Teratogenic effects (birth defects) or toxicity to developing offspring occurred in studies with rats, rabbits, sheep and pigs. These effects usually occurred at dose levels that also produced maternal toxicity. Mutagenic effects: This material was not mutagenic in bacteria (Ames test) or animal cells (cell-mediated Chinese hamster ovary test). Carcinogenic effects: This material is not listed as a carcinogen by SB, IARC, NTP or US OSHA. Lifetime studies with mice and rats demonstrated no evidence of carcinogenicity. Ecological effects: No information found. Do not contaminate fish ponds, drains, rivers or streams with product or used containers. The Australian Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) of albendazole for a human is 0.05 mg/kg/day set for the public for daily, lifetime exposure. This is based on the NOEL of 5 mg/kg/day, the level determined to show no effects during long term exposure for the most sensitive indicators and the most sensitive species. (Ref: Comm. Dept of Health and Aged Care, TGA, ADI List, August 2001). LEVAMISOLE HYDROCHLORIDE Toxicity to mammals: Acute oral LD50 (rats) 180 mg/kg Reproductive effects: Studies carried out on rats, rabbits and pigs did not show any treatment-related effects on male or female fertility or offspring normality. There was no effect on litter parameters, and no embryotoxicity or postnatal growth was observed. Teratogenic effects: Studies carried out on rats, rabbits and pigs did not show any treatment-related effects on dams or fetuses. No treatment-related embryotoxic or teratogenicity effects were observed. Mutagenic effects: Studies carried out on rats, rabbits and pigs did not show any treatment-related effects on offspring normality. Carcinogenic effects: Studies carried out on mice and rats did not show any treatmentrelated tumours or the incidence of various types of tumours.

Do not contaminate fish ponds, drains, rivers or streams with product or used containers. The Australian Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) of levamisole hydrochloride for a human is mg/kg/day, set for the public daily, lifetime exposure. This is based on the NOEL of 6 mg/kg/day, the level determined to show no effects during long term exposure for the most sensitive indicators and the most sensitive species. (Ref: Comm. The Australian Acceptible Daily Intake (ADI) of ivermectin for a human is mg/kg/day, set for the public for daily, lifetime exposure. This is based on the NOEL of 0.1 mg/kg/day, the level determined to show no effects during long term exposure for the most sensitive indicators and the most sensitive species. (Ref: Comm. FLAMMABILITY: The product is not flammable. ENVIRONMENT: Studies indicate that when ivermectin comes into contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to soil and becomes inactive over time. Containers and any residual contents should be disposed of safely (eg. by burying) as free ivermectin may adversely affect fish and certain waterborne organisms.

Store in a safe place away from foodstuffs, seeds or fertilizers. TRANSPORT: Product not classified as a dangerous good for transport by road, rail, sea or air. It is a good practice to separate this product from food and animal feedstuffs during transport. Packaging and Labelling: POISON Schedule 6. For animal treatment only. Keep out of reach of children. Return clean container for recycling where this is an option or for disposal at a landfill authorised to accept that waste. If neither of these options are available, bury the container below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers should not be burned. In the event of significant product spillage, use absorbent materials such as soil, sawdust or sand then bury material as above. FIRE/EXPLOSION HAZARD: If involved in a fire, may emit toxic fumes. Fight fires from upwind, wear self contained breathing apparatus.
