1 1/6 The list below (A) is recommended by the ECVCP Examination committee as literature that can be used and on which examination questions are based. It is advised that candidates be familiar with this material. A more detailed list (B) with additional books and journals is recommended by the ECVCP Education committee: this material is that expected to form part of a collection in a training centre. These books and journals should be consulted during the training period and read to broaden background and deepen understanding of the four areas of clinical pathology: general clinical pathology, haematology, cytology, clinical chemistry and urinalysis.
