Destination will be on the right. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE Vehicles parked on show grounds will be monitored. If animals left in vehicles are in distress due to heat or any other circumstance, the vehicle will be forcibly entered, the animal recovered and the owner cited. If it is necessary to rescue a dog from a parked vehicle on the show grounds or in the parking area, the club will not be responsible or liable for any damage to the vehicle involved. REMINDER PET CLEAN UP AND TRASH Exhibitors and handlers are reminded to clean up after their dogs and to keep their areas clean. Failure to do so may result in charges being brought up by the show committee. All trash will be placed in the appropriate containers. CANOPIES FOR SHADE ARE ALLOWED A clear walkway of at least 10 feet will be maintained around the rings.

TO 4 P.M. IF YOU ARRIVE SATURDAY MORNING, AND LEAVE SUNDAY NIGHT, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS. PARKING RULES On site parking is a privilege extended by the Sammamish Kennel Club and the Sammamish Kennel Club reserves the right to withhold this privilege from any person who does not observe the rules and/or instructions of Parking Personnel on duty. Abusive language and other tactics will not be allowed and anyone unable to abide by the rules will be escorted off the premises without recourse or refund of fees. Anyone blocking the fire lanes, illegally parking in handicapped parking, driving/parking inside the show limits or tying up the load/unload zone will pay a fine of $ and will be towed away at the owner s expense and risk. The Load/Unload Zone has a 15-MINUTE LIMIT. PLEASE OBSERVE! Handicapped parkers must have and display a current/valid state handicapped permit or vehicular license plate. We have limited handicapped parking and the loading zone CANNOT be used as an alternative. There are NO HOOK-UPS for overnighters. There will be NO discharge of ANY liquid on the grounds. Violation will cause immediate ejection from the grounds with no recourse or compensation. GENERATOR EXHAUST MUST BE PROPERLY VENTILATED. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Should the show committee determine that any dog enclosed in a vehicle is in danger, the Sammamish Kennel Club reserves the right to break into that vehicle. Anyone parking in the show site parking areas must accept full responsibility for damages should this occur. TRANSFER OF ENTRIES CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another. provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show. USE OF RAMPS ALL BREEDS A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging. AKC approval is not required. The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp). At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Lagotto Romagnolo, American Water Spaniels, Clumber Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Cirneco dell Etnas, American Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Finnish Spitz, Keeshonden, Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, Finnish Lapphunds, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Spanish Water Dogs, and Norrbottenspets (Misc.). At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the following breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets. The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4 6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Group and BIS competitions. Ramps can be used in emergency situation to judge any breed. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund. For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds. (03/2018) NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS ALL EVENTS Please note: Any hotel or motel listed in the premium list is subject to Event Committee Rules. We expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent.
