7 CHALLENGE TROPHY BEST OF BREED IN SHOW: CH. KINGSMARK MEDICINE MAN Challenge Cup. This trophy was retired in 2006 by Ch. Sterling Society Outstandish. The trophy was reoffered in 2007 through the NACF by Rosamond Toliver (deceased) in memory of her husband, and Pilgrim s co-owner Bobby Tolliver. For permanent possession, the trophy must be won three times by the same owner, not necessarily with the same dog nor consecutive shows. The person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog, and family members must both be a breeder and owner of record to exhibit in this class.

9 VETERAN CLASS Veteran Dogs & Bitches may be spayed or neutered at Specialty Shows. BEST OF VARIETY COMPETITION The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Variety competition: dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs that according to their owners records have completed the requirements for a championship but whose championships are unconfirmed. Entering and showing dogs whose championships are unconfirmed is limited to 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a championship according to the owner s records. If at the end of the 90-day period the championship of a dog has not been confirmed by the American Kennel Club no further entries of the dog for Best of Breed competition are to be made until its championship has been confirmed by the AKC.
