2 SCOTT COUNTY KENNEL CLUB (Licensed by the American Kennel Club) HERDING TEST/TRIAL October 8 & 9, 2016 Events # , , Location: Mariah Arabian & Collies, th St., Aledo, Il Open to all AKC registered Herding Breeds, and all other dogs allowed in the AKC Herding program and dogs granted ILP/PAL privileges or recorded with FSS of these breeds, 9 months of age and older. Trial 1: Herding tested and Pre-trial Test (sheep); and Trial course A & B all levels for ducks. Trial 2: Course A, B & C (Course C is Saturday only) all levels for sheep. Exhibition runs will be available if run/time permits. Entry limits: 50 total runs per day maximum, 12 duck runs. Sheep: HT & PT - 6 runs; A & B (combined) 30 runs; C 6 runs Entries close Sept , 5 PM. When numerical limit is reached, additional entries will be placed on an alternate list. Drawing for running order: Sept. 23, 2016, at 7 PM at 2000 W. River Dr., Davenport, IA. Veterinarian on call: AEC of the Quad Cities, 2810 State Street, Bettendorf, IA (563) Entry fee: $40.00 per dog per test/trial class entered (includes all fees) NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Test/Trial site will be available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day or until one hour after conclusion of event. No unentered dogs (except set-out dogs) allowed at test/trial site. A cooling tub will be provided. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED. Please bring your own chairs, dog supplies, etc. Dress for Illinois fall weather. We could have 40 degrees or 90+ degrees. Food will be available at the site. Schedule with a map will be provided. Bitches in season will be allowed, but must move to the end of the test class. Please notify the secretary if your bitch is in season. THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB RULES REGARDING CONDUCT WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. No refund for duplicate entries or any other cause beyond the control of the club after closing dates. RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY. NO CONDITIONAL ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. ENTRY FORMS MUST BE SIGNED. A separate form for each class must be completed for each dog entered. Entries not on official AKC entry forms and photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Forms are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

4 Owners or their agents are solely responsible for the presence of their dog(s) at the test/trial arena. Judges are not responsible to wait for dogs. Exhibitors are expected to maintain the premises in a clean and tidy condition. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of Test/Trial committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of God, public emergency or other acts beyond the control of the Club it is impossible to open or to complete, no refund of entry fee will be made. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. All fees are to be made in U.S. funds. One half mile south of Preemption, turn west (right) at 160 th Ave., one quarter mile turn left on 255 th St., one quarter mile south, on right, watch for signs.
