All stakes open to all AKC registerable pointing breeds. Entries limited to the number of dogs which can be run during available Daylight hours, and entries will close when the limit is reached if that occurs prior to the specified closing time. 3 COURSES, BIRDS & OTHER INFORMATION: Silo Course 1 - single course without bird field & may be run as an alternating course in and out without bird field. Silo Course 2 is a single course without a bird field. Quail used in all stakes. Amateur Gun Dog is a retrieving stake with callback for retrieve. A blank cartridge will NOT be fired in Open Puppy Shotguns with blank shells will NOT be permitted. Horseback handling will NOT be permitted in any stake. Tracking collars permitted per AKC rules and regulations, and are permitted in the callback for retrieve. Orange vests are mandatory for judges, handlers, marshals, gunners and bird planters & spectators during callback for retrieve. PRIZES: Standard AKC Rosettes to all placed dogs in each stake.

Cost is $9.00 per day or $32.00 for an annual permit for Michigan residents, and slightly higher for non-residents. Camping is permitted on the Field Trial Grounds. A Camping fee of $12 per night is to be paid to the trial secretary before leaving the event. A $20 additional fee will be accessed by club if camping is not paid for prior to parties leaving grounds Coffee and donuts in the morning. Lunch will be available for a nominal fee There is potable water (hand pump) available on the Silo Course. No indoor shelter and no indoor restrooms on the grounds. Restaurants, gas stations, grocery store, etc. are on Hwy. M-59 approximately 3 miles from grounds. You can fill out an Official AKC Entry form at AKC website
