5 Job As you already know German shepherds are great pets, but also they are really hard workers. They have a lot of jobs that they are good at and can handle them. You should teach your dog basic commands, like: sit, lay down and come when called. It will help your dog to behave good. It is important, when you are training your puppy, to be consistent. It is also important not to threaten and hit your helpless dog. As I already mentioned, you should teach your dog some basic commands.
