Bexley really needs a dog friendly park with walking/running trails Please let me know if volunteer opportunities may be available. (weekends) Drinking water fountain Fenced in play area for toddlers/younger kids Disc golf A fenced in toddler space similar to the Jeffery Mansion. Friends drive to bexley for the space, as it is unique to the city. Having two would give more safe spaces to play for small children and even more reason to use the park. beautiful perinneal plants and bird baths and bird feeders Pumps for bicycle tires Keeping lots of trees and a sense of natural/wild terrain, as opposed to landscaping everything. Keep the human constructed change/impact as minimal as possible! Having safe and convenient access to space that still feels wild would be a tremendous gift. We don't otherwise have this in south Bexley nothing like the woods behind Jeffrey Mansion, or up along Alum Creek at Wolfe Park. Bike rack bathroom house Trash cans, lots of trash cans and exceptional lighting, police bike patrol, organized neighborhood watch for the corridor, sledding hill Cyclocross Course I like the fitness course along the path, it makes sense and would get a lot of use Fenced dog run/park area 9 Hole Disc Golf Course & Bocce Ball Courts water fountain or water bottle refill station Water Fountain and restroom tables and benches Bmx dirt jumps accessible playground for children with special needs playground for toddlers and older children playground equipment? even if its just some balance beams, etc. Love the idea
8 of a performing space! SECURITY!!!!!!!! Crime deterrent All of this will only work if we can feel safe in this space. Bike racks and lights along path at night beautiful perennial plants and bird baths and bird feeders Parking, parking, parking for those who are using the park and amenities but live on the east side of Bexley or north end of Bexley and can't walk or bike there easily. The Main Street bridge across Alumn Creek is very narrow and difficult to ride your bike across the bridge to the trail. The bike path is extremely popular. Please widen the Mian street bridge so that it looks like the Broad Street bridge over Alumn Creek. nice bathroom with a key or code to open Splash Pad for children to play in on a hot day. Also, a fenced dog friendly section which has separate areas for large and for small dogs. bike racks, stroller racks Public safety good lighting and perhaps some of those emergency phones. Playground If concessions and vending is included please look at contracts that promote healthy options. Water fountains with water bottle refilling stations. Restroom with baby changing station Where oh where can we go to use fitness equipment?? such as bike, eliptical etc machines. Off leash dog park, Please! Dog Park Off leash dog park with creek access? Other ideas could include adding a deck or walk out structure, sculpture garden, etc. A dog run locator map Community indoor swimming pool Playground and picnic tables/ charcoal grills directly west of the belly community garden. Basketball hoops and court for neighborhood chilled and residents as well as safe lighting to discourage crime and vandalism. Please allow dogs! Would love a Skate Park none close by except a bare bones one in Gahanna. I take my son to Powell! soccer practice fields, basic restrooms, unleashed dog park security cameras, fenced in infant play yard (with or without equipment) Police presence Restroom, water fountain F.A.C.T. Information & Creek Science & Exhibit area Bocce court Creek access for nature education; creek overlook; big playground Dog run unleashed, fenced in fenced in dog park Fenced dog park playground equipment Cyclocross course Water access is key! lighting for paths Bike repair station w/pump Fenced area for unleased dogs natural area for kid play, such as those offered by metorparks playground equipment, swings? Playground! Basketball courts Safety, Safety, Safety Needed more room to comment a water fountain that bikers, joggers etc... could use to drink and/or refill water bottles also a small restroom would be wonderful Access to the creek trash cans Bathrooms, drinking fountains Disc golf! creative playground security Off leash dog park A community learning area where seminars, demonstrations, and classes for all ages can be held would be great. Learning first hand about crayfish and other creek widllife as a kid was such fun for me. Water fountains, wifi Baby swings and drinking fountains health and fitness related activities and equipment Wheelchair Accessible play area I know a great company for supplying the fitness equipment. Please call or and I can get name for you. Vending machine instead of concession Plenty of Cops to patrol, I would hesitate to allow my family to come to that park without me. Once developed, I would fear it will become bum central. Some type of security alarm, call box? It borders on some sketchy areas. Security /Safety of park users needs to be a priority due to high crime near area Keep it rustic & pervious, do not pave. Educational signs about Alum Creek watershed & importance of riparian way & water quality. Keep path far away from upper out each of creek to
9 preserve & protect sensitive corridor.promote use of pumphouse park existing concrete stairs/bank for watercraft access. Use other exisitng park spaces for large group activties. maintain bird sanctuary area & community garden Restroom/Water Facilities zipline add a dog park A fenced area for dogs. Water hydrant or fountain. A fence between the Ferndale apartments and whatever is built to improve the area. Bathrooms! Security for that area of the path Fenced dog park area for dogs to run off leash!! Disc Golf! Fountain with sitting around. Like the fountains kids play in at easton, party pavilion that you can rent out for parties
