There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. BaRay Events will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. We expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. GROOMING RULES Grooming area will not be open until 3:00PM Wednesday Northwest Breeder s Showcase Brought to you by Timberland Valley Dog Fanciers Entries The Breeder s Showcase-2013 will start at group level. Each entry shall consist of two dogs of the same breed or variety. They may be either male or female or one of each. The entry fee for the breeder s showcase is $25.00 (Twenty five dollars) per UNIT, not per dog. Entries will be taken day of event on site. Each entry shall have at least one breeder in common. The name of this breeder must be exactly the same, but may fall in any order on the registration. The first entry of the team must be handled by the breeder, the second dog or bitch may be handled by anyone. It is not necessary for dog nor bitch in the Breeder Stakes to be entered at breed level or in the regular classes but either or both may be. This will allow retired champions to be shown in this competition. All entries must be purebred and registered in accordance with AKC rules for entering an AKC Sanctioned show. Altered dogs may be entered. The Breeder s Showcase 2013 groups will be judged on Saturday, July 13, 2013 after the Best in Show judging has been completed. Rosettes will be awarded for Group 1-4, Best in Breeders Showcase, and Reserve Best in Breeders Showcase. 5 ROUTES TO THE SHOW Both Northbound & Southbound on I-5, Take Exit #79. Turn East off the exit onto Chambers Way. Go to the second stop light and turn left onto National Avenue, which is a one-way street going north. National Avenue turns into Kresky Avenue. For the North Parking Lot, continue north on Kresky Avenue and turn left on Fair Street, then left on Gold Street. The North Parking Lot will be on the right side. If you have an obedience entry proceed to the South Parking lot. Go past the Gun Show parking and present you entry form to the TVDFA attendant and they will direct you to parking close to your rings. Fair Street PARKING INFORMATION RESERVATIONS ARE CLOSED RV/TRUCK OVERNIGHT PARKING At The Gate...$45.00 per night, cash Power... $10.00 additional per weekend. 6 USE OF RAMPS At the sole discretion of the judge, approved breeds may be examined on the ground or on a ramp: *Boykin Spaniels, Clumber Spaniels, Field Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, **Basset Hounds, *Whippets, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, **Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chows, Keeshonden, Norwegian Buhunds and Polish Lowland Sheepdogs. *Boykin Spaniels and Whippets may be examined on the ground, on a table or on a ramp. **Basset Hounds and Bulldogs are expected to be judged on the ramp during breed judging. For the judging of Juniors, the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp breeds. This list may be revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in Judging Operations. A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show Secretary prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required. Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has no recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.) TRANSFER OF ENTRIES NOTE: BECAUSE OF TRAVEL TIME TO THE SHOW SITE, TRANSFER OF ENTRIES AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS FOR PUBLISHED JUDGE CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE 5:00PM ON TUESDAY, JULY 9. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE. CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one halfhour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another. provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show. OBEDIENCE OR RALLY: A dog who has earned a title after entries have closed may be moved to another class in a future trial, provided the transfer request is presented to the Superintendent in writing at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move-ups may be approved provided the class and judge are available and the class has not reached its limit.
