1 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or an AKC Canine Partners listing number, or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds. Mixed breed dogs that have been listed with AKC Canine Partners may participate provided their listing number has been recorded on the entry form Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf shall not be eligible and neither are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. Puppies under six months of age are strictly prohibited from the trial grounds. Premium List AKC All Breed Licensed Agility Trials These Events are Accepting Entries for Mixed Breed Dogs Listed in the AKC Canine Partners Program November 27, November 28, and November 29, 2015 Event # , # and # Running order will be determined by a random draw. Handlers with more than one dog will have those dogs separated as much as possible. There will be no refunds for entries withdrawn after the closing date except in the event of injury to dog or handler or bitches in season and must have a note from your doctor or vet. In these cases, entries will be refunded (minus expenses) provided the trial secretary is notified in writing prior to the trial. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by the action of the trial committee. In the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such a dismissal, there shall be no refund. No entry fee will be refunded if this trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate and legible information on their entry-please PRINT; illegible or incomplete entries cannot be entered in the trial. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. The Trial Secretary will add a $25.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor will result in their being put on a cash only basis. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund on any fee paid will be made. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm up area. Please clean up after your dog. DO NOT LEAVE ANIMALS UNATTENDED IN VEHICLES. The club will not be responsible for damage to vehicles resulting from the rescue of animals in distress. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Exhibitors, while competing, must wear appropriate/proper footwear. Exhibitors will not be allowed to compete in bare feet or open toe shoes. The club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event. Course Familiarization / Warm ups Handlers in all classes will be permitted to walk the course without a dog prior to the start of the class. The walk through is restricted to handlers entered in the class. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump will be provided. Class Information Classes offered: All levels of Standard, Jumpers with Weaves, and Time 2 Beat, including the preferred classes, will be offered all three days. Premier Standard and Premier JWW, Regular and Preferred will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. FAST, Regular and Preferred will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. Owners are responsible for entering the proper class. A complete set of rules for all classes is available from the American Kennel Club, 8051 Arco Corporate Drive, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC , or from the AKC website at It is the exhibitor s responsibility to enter their dog in the correct class. The Trial Secretary cannot make any changes (except for move-ups as noted) after the closing date of the trial. Be sure to check your entry form carefully and make certain you have entered the correct class(es). Move-Ups Dogs may be moved up to a higher class, as a result of qualifying for an agility title, provided that the request is received in writing by the Trial Secretary, no later than 6pm Monday, November 23, Day to day move ups will be accepted providing a move up form is completed and turned into the Trial Secretary on site no later than 15 minutes after the completion of the last class of the day. AWARDS Ribbons will be awarded to 1 st - 4 th place in each jump height class to dogs with qualifying scores. A dog related item will be awarded to dog s placing first through fourth in their classes. Green Qualifying ribbons will be awarded to all dogs earning a qualifying score. Master level dogs earning a Double, Triple, Quadruple or Sextuple Q will be awarded a corresponding pin. Special rosette, jump bar and MACH pin will be awarded to any dog completing a MACH or PACH title. If you anticipate completing your MACH or PACH at our trial, PLEASE notify the Trial Secretary in advance! Regular Classes Height Classes Dog's Actual Height Preferred Classes 8" 11" and under at the withers 4" 12" 14" and under at the withers 8" 16" 18" and under at the withers 12" 20" 22" and under at the withers 16" over 22" and under at the 24" withers 20" 26" Dogs may be entered at this height at the owner's discretion Effective January 1, 2010, exhibitors are no longer required to provide proof to Trial Secretaries that their dog has a valid jump height card as part of the check-in process. Furthermore, this change eliminates the need for a copy of the jump height card to be submitted with an entry form. Dogs without a valid Jump Height Card/Form may still compete; however they must be measured/wicketed by the Judge of Record PRIOR to running in their class and this measurement will be valid for that weekend of trials only. The exception to this requirement is a dog entered in the 24 or 26 height division. However, if a Volunteer Measuring Official (VMO) or an Agility Field Rep is present, ALL dogs without a valid Jump Height Card/Form must be measured at some time during the trial or cluster of trials. This does not preclude having the dog wicketed by the Judge of Record if the VMO or Rep is not available to measure the dog before its first run of the trial or cluster of trials. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to have their dog measured prior to running and failure to do so will result in the cancellation of any qualifying scores.

There will be two 110 x 100 rings. Both rings will be enclosed by netting. DIRECTIONS: From Sacramento/Bay Area: Take Hwy 50 east towards Lake Tahoe. Exit at Sunrise Blvd. Turn right off the exit ramp and proceed for 7.4 miles to Jackson Rd (Hwy 16). Turn left on Jackson Road and proceed 7.1 miles to Lone Pine Rd. Turn right on Lone Pine. Murieta Equine Complex is immediately on your right. From Reno: Take Hwy 80 towards Sacramento. Exit at Sierra College Blvd. Turn South. After a few miles, Sierra College Blvd becomes Hazel Ave. Follow Hazel Blvd to Hwy 50 WEST. Exit Hwy 50 at Sunrise Blvd. Turn left off the exit ramp and follow directions above. NEW PREMIER STANDARD AND JUMPERS CLASSES We are offering the newest AKC Agility classes Premier Standard and Premier JWW. These classes will provide an opportunity for agility competitors to demonstrate handling skills that may be different than those required for the Masters level classes. Both Premier Standard and Premier JWW courses will be Master level courses incorporating a number of elements that challenge the dog and handler in ways that are not typically seen on traditional AKC courses. These elements could include threadles, back-side jumps, pull-throughs, layering, challenging weave pole entries, and longer running passes. One bi-directional jump or tunnel will be allowed to encourage handling strategies. Obstacle spacing on Premier courses may exceed the limits of those on Master courses. Premier courses will use the same obstacles as the corresponding Master course. There may be 3 tunnel passes and there will be no table. There may be 3 tunnel passes and there will be no table. A Premier course will have 19 to 21 obstacles, 3 side switches, 4 Premier Elements and 5 Challenges. Courses will be judged using AKC Master scoring and hand signals. FRIDAY EVENING B MATCH SDTC is happy to announce we will be holding our annual B Match on Friday following the close of regular competition. Please see the match flyer later in the premium!! HELP WANTED!! We would love your help at our trial. Volunteers will be given worker bucks for each class/division worked. Care will be taken to allow you plenty of time for your own dogs and to instruct you in your job assignments if you have never done a particular job before! Just sign up on the white worker boards that will be located next to each ring. Worker bucks can be used for Future Entries, Match Entries, Lunch and/or On Site Vendors. Canine activities are INHERENTLY DANGEROUS. I understand this is not a complete description of all risks and that other unknown or unforeseeable hazards and risks of harm may occur. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box. Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or leaser of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN ITS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION.
