To arrive earlier you must contact Betsy Richards, Show or abrich27@aol.com. Reservations must be received by April 30, 2017 in order to receive our group rate! This is a busy resort and reserving after this date, you may not find an available room. CANCELLATIONS or CHANGES to Lodging: Up until May 1st deposit is refunded in full. From May 1st to 7 days prior to reservation date, deposit is refunded less a non-refundable $30.00 service fee per unit, less than 7 days cancellation the deposit would be forfeited. Hotel Room Rate is subject to NY State Sales tax (8.0%), Occupancy Tax = 5% and a Resort Fee of $10.00 per room. A guarantee/payment of one night's stay is required to hold your reservation. Check in time is 5:00 P.M. but everything will be done to accommodate earlier arrivals. Check out time is 11:00 A.M. A $50.00 Security Deposit will be collected at check-in for each unit a dog is staying in. The deposit is fully refundable providing there is no damage. Rules & Regulations for Pets at the 2017 TTCA National Peek'n Peak Resort: I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions while The Inn at The Peak resort with my dog(s):! I agree to keep my dog on a leash or in a carrier while in public places! I agree to keep my dog out of all public food areas, including pool & fitness areas.! I agree that all unattended dogs in sleeping room MUST be crated. Plastic is required under crates and will be provided at check in.! I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my dog, in the interest of other resort guests.! I agree to pay any additiional cleaning bills or repairs caused by my stay with my dog(s) should they be required, and authorize the Resort to charge my credit card on file for such charges.! I agree that my dog weights less than 40 lbs.! No ex-pens allowed in crating/grooming room.! The event committee reserves the right to remove any areas roped off by exhibitors and to allocate or designate crate & grooming space.! Guests are responsible for cleaning up after exercising dogs: ample waste product bags and receptacles will be provided for your convenience. No soiling indoors.! Bathing dogs is allowed in designated areas only. Two bathing stations with tubs will be provided. Towels will be provided but must be left at bathing stations so be sure to bring your own towels along. Exhibitors are responsible for damages and cleaning up of their grooming activities.! The TTCA will not be held responsible for anything stolen, lost or damaged either at the show locations or the host resort. Please remember, the TTCA requires dogs be crated when unattended in the National Specialty hotel rooms and the rooms are to be left in the same condition as when first occupied. Failure to abide by these rules will result in those individual's names being given to future host hotels with the intent of being refused occupancy. As the Host Hotel is also the show grounds, you can be brought up before an AKC Event Committee for not complying with the rule to leave your hotel room in the proper condition. 6

To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. Dogs found in an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way (for example, left unattended on a grooming table in a noose and not attached to a safety release clip; left in a vehicle without proper ventilation) will be removed to safety. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way is considered mistreatment. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. BITCH IN SEASON In the case of a bitch in season in Obedience Competition Only, a refund of all but $3.00 of the entry fee for the Obedience Class (Classes) will be returned upon sending a written statement from a Veterinarian to the Superintendent postmarked before the day of the show. CANINE COURTESY All dogs shall be kept under control at all times. You are responsible for picking up after the animals in your care. PLEASE EXERCISE DOGS IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY There will be pooper scoopers and containers placed around the grounds. PLEASE USE THEM. All regulations will be enforced by the Grounds Committee. NO GASOLINE OR DIESEL GENERATORS are permitted within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is being conducted. 7

8 AKC Canine Good Citizen Program & TDI Wednesday - May 31, 2017 in the Playzone at Inn At the Peak following Obedience & Rally We have a form to fill out in the Information Booklet Before taking the CGC or CGCA test, owners will sign the Responsible Dog Owner's Pledge. Note: Other information may be required when completing the test forms. Pre-enter to assure participation using the form provided in the Specialty Information Brochure mailed to you. Day of test entries will only be accepted if time is available. LYME DISEASE IN CANINES AND HUMANS Tuesday :00 to 4:30 We are honored to have Dr. Cassandra Guarino from Cornell University giving a presentation on "Canine Lyme Disease: Detection, Treatment and Prevention".
