6 Fun Show Participation Requirement Before the fair each exhibitor is required to attend at least two shows with each dog they are showing to qualify to show at the fair. Following is a list of fun shows. Dog Council recommends that exhibitors and their dogs attend as many shows as possible for practice and socialization. Reminder!! If you have not attended your two required shows, you only have three (3) more shows to do so. There are no exceptions to this rule. Bleachers Are For Spectators It is dangerous for your dog to be in the bleachers at the show barn during a show. He could fall and take you with him. We also ask that you not sit on the first row of the bleachers with your dog. Spectators will also be walking back and fourth in front of the bleachers, stepping over or on your dog. Use either the indoor or outdoor crating area. During the fair Jr. Fair Board Dog Committee members have the right to dismiss you from the show if you choose to ignore a warning to stay out of the bleachers with your dog. For both fair shows, Monday August 21st and and Tuesday August 22nd, we asking that all dogs be created, if possible, for their own, exhibitors and spectators safety. Dogs should only be out of their creates for exercise or when going to the ring. There will be a creating area inside the barn as well as an area outside on the north side of the building. Please do not create your dog in the doorways. Dog Council will have passes that will allow you into the fairgrounds to load and unload creates. These are limited and will need to be shared.
