What is PooPrints? Responsible Pet Ownership Expanded Pet Access Environmental Awareness We are the first and largest DNA waste management in the world Our program creates a system of accountability eliminating dog waste by 95% and permanently solving the waste issue With 3,000 properties ranging from high-rises to HOAs to campsites, we have experience of every kind Our in-house, ISO certified laboratory has top tier equipment that ensures maximum security and accuracy with your DNA results Our database is optimized to catalog and store data on thousands of pets Our portfolio of 55+ apartment communities has been using PooPrints for the past 2 years. Since implementing PooPrints in our communities, the pet waste problem has been completely eliminated We highly recommend the PooPrints program to everyone in the apartment management industry. -Sandy Pedersen, Regional VP, Sares-Regis Group
Testimonials We believe the PooPrints program has been a huge success for us. We no longer have dog waste complaints, our properties are clean and waste free, and our resident retention rate has increased. I would highly recommend the PooPrints program to any property owner looking to increase the overall quality of their pet friendly locations. JJS Property Management I was leery that the PooPrints Program would be very difficult to implement and that it would not be received well. I couldn t have been more wrong. We have had 0 objections to this program thus far and countless compliments on how well it has worked. Our grounds are finally poop free and I haven t even had to fine anyone yet for not picking up after their dog s waste! This program was an answered prayer. Adam Chivara, Property Manager at Legends at Oak Grove
Waste Concerns The EPA places dog waste in the same pollution category as toxic chemicals and oil. They estimate a 100-dog community can close a 20-mile watershed. Another study found 20% of bacteria in contaminated water traced to a canine source. Environment Areas where dog waste is prevalent have an elevated risk of rodent infestation, Mice and rats rely on the nutrients and food particles in dog excrement, making high traffic dog areas a breeding ground. Dog waste is the #1 source for rodent s food in developed areas. Pests An average dog dropping contains 3 billion fecal bacteria that the CDC warns can be transferred from the waste to humans and other pets. Symptoms can include fever, kidney disorders, headache and vomiting. Health
Community Value Non-dog owners will love that they rarely encounter pet waste. Dog owners enjoy special benefits when they register pets: Generate revenue and increase NOI through pet registrations. Easy to implement during move-in orientation or a community Pet Day. Example pet policy clause and form letters are provided. Include dog registration as part of your existing resident pet fees. Contact your local distributor or info@pooprints.com for a quote! Manage and track all pets on the property using free online tools
Resident Value Non-dog owners will love that they rarely encounter pet waste. Dog owners enjoy special benefits when they register pets: Secure online storage of pet vaccine records, vet history, and a printable DNA Profile Map Lost-and-Found using the most accurate identification tool: DNA Decrease the chances of their pet getting communicable diseases from other dog droppings Complete protection from being falsely accused of failing to pick up after pet
How It Works To get started, purchase a PooPrints DNA Collection Kit for every dog to get started. This cost can be passed to dog-owning residents by increasing the monthly pet rent or annual pet fee DNA Collection Kits are sent back to our laboratory for processing. All dogs are then added to our secure DNA World Pet Registry Place this special tag on the dog s collar to identify them as PooPrints registered
Our Database Dog DNA profile is created in our patented DNA World Pet Registry database to match waste samples with the dog responsible The DNA World Pet Registry is secure, confidential and automatically updated Using the DNA World Pet Registry, account admins can see waste sample results allowing them to properly fine pet owners responsible for leaving the mess
Waste Collection When waste is left on the property, a small sample is taken with a Waste Sample Collection Kit and sent to our laboratory Collect a nickel-sized amount of waste. Shake well, and mail the sample in its leak-proof container to the lab for analysis. The waste is run against the DNA in our World Pet Registry to find the offending dog Turn around time is 5-10 days from sample receipt. Management can log into their unique database to match the sample with a registered community dog. Results are sent by to the account admin containing all the scientific information on the match
Life Plan Basics Each member receives a free BioPet Life Plan that owners can access through the DNA World Pet Registry. They are eligible to upgrade to a premium plan. Each BioPet Life Plan allows you to: Screen your pet s DNA for dozens of genetic diseases and traits Learn about potential health risks based on hyper pets breed, age, gender, and weight Identify tendencies towards adverse reactions to certain drugs Develop a personalized health and wellness plan Improve communication with your veterinarian and other pet care providers
Pet Waste Cleanup We also offer a line waste clean-up products including poop bags and aluminum pet stations. Our 14- gauge aluminum pet waste station is rust-resistant. The paint is power coated and all hardware is zinc! These stands will make a fantastic addition to your property.
Property Managers report an almost immediate reduction in dog waste between 75 to 100%!
Every pile of unscooped dog waste has a unique DNA Poo Print that can be used to identify the specific pet Undeniable Accountability! Property Managers report an almost immediate reduction in dog waste
