Dogs handled in this competition must be entered in the show (regular class or exhibition only, 3-6months classes are excluded). ENTRY FEES Each dog, per entry, per trial $28.00 Exhibition Only $8.00 Listing Fee, per dog, per day $8.75 Processing all Credit card or online entries Add 10% per entry Prepaid Catalogues $7.00 $8.00 at the show Please note that dogs entered in more than one class for Obedience must have a separate entry form for each class entered. Please make all cheques or money orders payable to Chautauqua Canine Club. All credit card payments will be processed by Shandra s Show Services (may show as Shandra s SS) and will be charged a 10% fee of total order. Any Entry not containing correct Credit Card info or Declined will be considered non-payment and will not be accepted. NOTE: THERE WILL BE A $25.00 SERVICE CHARGE FOR ALL NSF CHEQUES OR INVALID OR DECLINED CREDIT CARDS. OVERPAYMENT OF ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Non-Member Participation Fee Non-member participation fee a) An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the nonmember participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be canceled. ATTENTION U.S. EXHIBITORS Current exchange rates are in our favor now. To take advantage of this, please purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian Funds and for the full amount of the entry fees. Please do not make personal cheques payable in Canadian funds or "at par". These are not readily cleared through the banks. Attention Foreign Exhibitors: All dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events will no longer require a CKC registration number but will require an Event Registration Number (ERN). Simply mail or fax a copy of the dog s registration certificate with a cheque, money order or Visa/Mastercard number payable to the Canadian Kennel Club. This ERN must be applied for within 30 days of the first day of entering a CKC event. 4 BOOTH SPACE All booth space is to be booked prior to closing date. We will not accept any booth bookings after the show closing dates. Please contact Helen Gormley at to book your both. Booths are $40 for the first 10 x 8 space and $15 for each additional spot. Booths are on a first come first serve biases. RV PARKING There will be onsite RV Parking with or without power - $25.00 per night - $ for the weekend (3 knights) If your require RV parking please fill out the section on your entry form to include RV Parking and payment with your entry forms. CHAMPIONS AND CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS A dog awarded WINNERS at a Championship show shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the number of championship points credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as provided hereunder. The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: Competing* or more Points *Includes the dog awarded Winners In counting the number of eligible dogs in competition, a dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused or ordered from the ring by the judge shall be included in the calculation for points. If a dog awarded WINNERS is also awarded BEST OF BREED at the show, then all dogs competing in the breed, including Specials Only, shall be included in the total. If a dog awarded WINNERS is also awarded BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX to Best of Breed, then all dogs of the same sex including those competing for Specials Only shall be included in the total. If a dog is awarded WINNERS is also awarded BEST OF WINNERS, then all dogs defeated directly or indirectly in the breed shall be included in the total. If a dog is awarded WINNERS only, then all the dogs of the same sex in the class competition shall be included the total. The number of championship points to be credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be determined by the highest award earned and calculated as per Section In addition to championship points allocated at the breed level, a dog awarded WINNERS, which also places in the regular Group competition, shall be credited with the following additional points provided that a dog was defeated at the Group level. In no case can a dog earn more than five points at a single show. An error in the class, date of birth or sex may be amended on the entry form up to one hour BEFORE the start of the show.

5 SHOW RULES AND GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Showing correct information on entry forms is the responsibility of the entrant. The show committee reserves the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC rules. Entry forms must be the same size and format as those included or they will be rejected. 2. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by entry fees. Telephone entries WILL NOT be accepted. Fax entries will be accepted. See instructions elsewhere in this premium list. 3. Post-dated cheques ARE NOT acceptable. Tendering of an N.S.F. cheque or Credit Cards in payment of entry fees shall be considered non-payment of entry fees and is an offense punishable by disciplinary action and cancellation of awards. A $25.00 SERVICE CHARGE WILL BE LEVIED ON ALL N.S.F. CHEQUES AND INVALID OR DECLINED CREDIT CARDS. 4. Entry fees WILL NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, sick, lame, excused by the veterinarian or judge, in season or barred from competition because it has been entered incorrectly. 5. Obedience entry fees WILL gladly be refunded to exhibitors whose bitches are in season during our TRIALS and must be withdrawn, IF (a) a dated veterinarian s certificate is produced prior to the Trial, OR (b) the bitch is on hand for inspection in the show building prior to the Trial. 6. Withdrawal of entries prior to closing date may be made by telephone, but MUST BE FOLLOWED UP IN WRITING to the Show Secretary so as to be received no more than 7 days after closing. 7. The entry of any dog cannot be altered or canceled after entries close, except as provided in the Dog Show Rules. 8. After the closing of entries, an identification/receipt and judging schedule will be mailed or ed to each exhibitor or agent. Owners making entries please include agent s address. 9. All dogs must be kept under control at all times. All dogs staying in the building overnight MUST have contact info for owner or agent at the time of show. Best place for this is on your crate or grooming table top. 10. It shall be the duty and obligation of the show-giving club to see that a judge, club official, ring steward, volunteer, or competitor at a Show held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Show Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. 11. The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for or assume any liability in the event of an accident or other misfortune to either dog, exhibitor or patron. The Show and Trials Giving Club will not be liable for any loss or injury that may be sustained through the disappearance, loss, theft, and/or death of dogs entered in the show under any circumstances. 12. If, because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. 13. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE: Chapter 24, Section 6, C.K.C. Dog Show Rules states Any person participating in any capacity at a dog show held under these Rules shall not be subjected to indignity of any kind during the progress of the show and it shall be the duty and the obligation of the Club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. 14. ACCORDING TO CITY BYLAW, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED OFF LEAD WITHIN CITY LIMITS. Exercise dogs only in designated areas. Anyone not following stop and scoop policy will be excused from the shows and trials. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs, both inside and outside the show building. The Show Superintendent reserves the right to eject from the show anyone show does not clean up after their dog.
