I N S I D E T H I S I S S U E : The Robot 2 Rocks and 2 Minerals Saving Water 3 Many ways to describe me are amazing smart and responsible I am amazing because I can do a front flip on the trampoline. I am smart because in second grade I got 100 every spelling test. I am responsible because I am more neater then Disney world it is hard to believe. I am happy when I play video games, when I am outside, and when I am with my family. I like playing videogames because I am with my brothers. When I m with my family we go outside. We play on the trampoline. I love my family because they are always there when I need them. Dogs Rule 3 Plants 4 Lost Dog 4 Penguins 5 My Busy Weekend I got up from my sleep and saw my brother going to middle school he looked really good. Then it was my turn. I was really tired because it was 7 a clock. Then I brushed my teeth and went to school. I saw all of my friends and went in my classroom.
2 P A G E 2 How to do the Robot! Have you ever seen someone do the robot? It only includes you. It s a good dance and I hope you like it to. It is better to practice at home because it makes it easier. First step in the middle of the area. Put your feet 1 foot away from the other. Put your arms to. Then turn your arms right. And go one step back. Put it down. Then you start to dance the robot. You put your hands in the middle, up, and down. You can use your feet and if you listen to that you re doing the robot. I hope you had a good time doing the robot because if you do a dance battle you will win. Rocks And Minerals Ca pti on A mineral is a substance found in nature that s not a plant or animal. Minerals are the building blocks of rocks. The different rocks are Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic rocks. Igneous rocks are fire made. They form when melted rocks cools and hardness but they but, they cool quickly in the surface. Volcanoes erupt from these types rocks of rocks. The example is granite and basalt. A Sedimentary rock forms when the same mud, and pebbles at the bottom of the river, lake and ocean pile ups. The examples of a Sedimentary rock is sandstone, shale, and siltstone. A Metamorphic rocks is a rock that has changed form through squeezing and heating. The examples are marbles, and gneiss. That s all the facts about the rocks and minerals. M O R R I S N E W S
3 I S S U E 1 P A G E 3 Dogs Rule!!! Do you think that dogs are great pets? I think that dogs are better then all pets because they are very active. I like dogs the way they are. Sometimes, dogs make people smile and they are very cute. Dogs have feelings they can be sad, mad, angry, and mostly glad. Some people feed them a lot of food so they can stay active and be a very good dog. Your dog is the one that needs to have fun with you. According to the article, dogs are great for someone who lives alone. And they are can be there whenever you need them. Dogs are very active so you can play with them a lot. Dogs provide great protection. In the article it states that most dogs will bark if there is danger. Dogs try and scare away the bad people. Sometimes they chase you away. That s all the three things a dog can do. Saving Water People should use water carefully because animals need water. The article states that if we use water too much there will be no more water any more. To help conserve water people can collect water in a barrel; take quick showers not long or a bath. You need to collect water in a barrel for are recourse. You need to collect water in barley because then there would be more water for all of us. According to the article every living thing needs water to survive. You need to take quick shower to help are recourse. You need to take a quick shower because if you take a quick shower it saves up to 9 meters of water. According to the article if we use too much water today there would be none in the future That s all the ways you can save water. Fly Eagle, Fly glet who hatched 1or 2 days ago. A friend came for a visit and saw the eaglet and the farmer said it a chicken, it talked like a chicken, and it walked like The story Fly Eagle Fly is a American Folk Tale. One day a farmer went looking for a lost calf. instead of finding a lost calf they found a eaa chicken. The friend took the farmer and eaglet to the mountain. When the sun rose, they let the eaglet fly. Fly, eagle, fly!
4 P A G E 4 Plants Plants are organism. Organism is a living thing. The parts of the plant is roots, stems and leaves. Plants need sun, minerals, water, and air. The roots help hold the plant in the ground. They take water minerals from the soil. The stem carries water and minerals from the roots. The stem carries food to the other parts of the plant. The last part of the plant is the leaves. The leaves uses gas from the air.. Carbon dioxide. And it has chlorophyll and traps energy from the light. And it needs energy + carbon dioxide + water to make food. The Lost Dog This story Lost Dog is about a boy who lost his dog. In the beginning Alan invited Buddy the dog and his owner Sam for the weekend at a cabin. When they went on a walk Buddy saw a rabbit and chased it. Sam and Alan couldn t find Buddy. So they asked Mr. Hall to help but, still they couldn t find him. Next Alan and Sam had to go home. While they were going home Sam through little pieces of clothing out the window, Buddy will pick up the scent and find his way home. When he went home mom promised to go back if know one finds his way home. In the end Sam, mom, and Mr Hall couldn t find him still. A few mornings on a Saturday morning Sam was woken up by his dog Buddy. Life Cycle All organism go threw life cycles. The first part of the life cycle is birth. Then it grows bigger and bigger. Then they make more of their own kind. Then unhappily death. This is the life cycle of every organism. M O R R I S N E W S
