CGC dogs must be at least 6 months old. Test Evaluator will be Lorna Brandt. Cost is $10.00 per dog. 3 ATTENTION EXHIBITORS AND SPECTATORS IMPORTANT SITE INFORMATION Show Site Entrance Fee: Champoeg State Park charges a day use fee of $5.00 per vehicle per day at the park. Display your receipt on your front dashboard. Overnight Camping: Overnight parking with RV hook-ups is available in another part of Champoeg State Park (approximately ¾ of a mile from the show site). Call Oregon State Reservations Northwest at for information and reservations. The park also has 6 Cabins and Yurts (a Mongolian tent) which sleep 5 for rent in this area, no dogs are allowed in the Yurts, they must be kenneled outside. As this is a State Park, we suggest for RV, cabin and Yurt reservations be made as soon as possible. Website: BE AWARE THAT CAMPING SITES HAVE AN AM CHECK OUT TIME. Plan to bring chairs and shade protection for you and your dog. The park has many trees for shade but they are not close to the rings. In July this site can become very warm and care must be taken to see that dogs are not left in vehicles to become overheated. Food Service: Please note there is no food service at the show site. Other than morning hospitality, exhibitors and spectators need to either order and pre-pay for lunch (see form) or plan to bring their own lunches and beverages each day. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND RULES AS SPECIFIED IN CHAPTER 12, SECTION 4 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, information contained on the entry form is required to be published in the Club s show catalog. This information is also subject to publication in other media. THE ROSE CITY LABRADOR RETRIEVER CLUB reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging is over and the Show Superintendent s Office advised at once. The Show Superintendent and the Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the class is over. EXERCISE DOGS in designated areas only. Handlers are expected to clean up promptly after their dogs at all motel sites and events. AKC RULES STATE THAT ONLY DOGS THAT ARE ELIGIBLE to be shown under the American Kennel Club rules shall be allowed within the show precincts. AT NO TIME WILL PUPPIES under the age of 6 months be allowed within the show Precincts. THERE SHALL BE NO drilling nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the show grounds or premises. NO PRACTICING IN RINGS. DOGS ALLOWED in rings during judging only. ALL REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE USE OF THE STATE PARK and all regulations and decisions of the Event Committee will be strictly enforced, including any not recorded in this Premium List. DOGS FOUND IN AN UNSAFE environment, distress or harm s way (for example: left unattended on a grooming table in a noose not attached to a safety release clip) will be removed to safety by Club officials or security personnel. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm s way will be investigated by the Event Committee. Important Parking Notice Rose City Labrador club reserves the right to hold parking space for judges, event committee chairperson and other event personnel. Out of respect for other attendees there is no reserving or coning off parking space. Parking is a first come first serve basics. The club will issue and mail the refund check to the listed owner of the bitch. Bitches in season are not allowed to compete in Obedience and/or Rally trials. RCLRC

Exhibitor s staying at any of these facilities are reminded to clean up after your dogs and to be considerate of guests staying without dogs. DIRECTIONS TO SHOW SITE Champoeg State Heritage Area is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Portland off Interstate 5. From Interstate 5, take Exit 278 Donald/ Aurora Exit. Follow signs to the Park. From the I-5 exit you will go west on Ehlen Road. Go approximately 2.6 miles and take a slight right onto Yergen Road. Continue on Yergen Rd NE, 1.0 mi. Turn right at Case Rd NE, 1.3 mi. Slight left at Champoeg Rd NE, 0.9 mi. Park entrance will be on right. Note: $5 per day parking fee charged at the gate. TRANSFER OF ENTRIES NOTE: BECAUSE OF TRAVEL TIME TO THE SHOW SITE, TRANSFER OF ENTRIES AND REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS FOR PUBLISHED JUDGE CHANGES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AFTER 12:00 NOON ON TUESDAY, JULY 8. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE. CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition present after the closing of entries for a show may transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class provided that this transfer is made by the Superintendent at least one-half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another. provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show. OBEDIENCE OR RALLY: A dog who has earned a title after entries have closed may be moved to another class in a future trial, provided the transfer request is presented to the Superintendent in writing at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each trial. Move-ups may be approved provided the class and judge are available and the class has not reached its limit. 8 RCLRC 2014
