1 BOSTON TERRIER RESCUE CANADA Adoption Application How did you hear of Boston Terrier Rescue Canada (BTRC)? Date: Every BTRC rescue dog is vet examined, vaccinated, parasite tested and treated as required, spay/neutered, microchipped, and has received any necessary additional medical care. Our standard adoption donation is $400.00, with some exceptions for puppies, senior or special needs dogs. Our adoption application is the first step in our adoption process, but does not guarantee a prospective adopter a rescued dog. The only exception for not having a vet reference is an applicant that is applying for their first pet. Please provide two personal references that are not related to you that we may contact regarding this adoption, including telephone number, address and relationship to you. If you are unable to provide a veterinary reference, as a first time pet owner, please include a third personal reference. If a question does not apply, mark as N/A. Incomplete applications may not be processed. Once your adoption application is received you will receive an confirmation within 72 hours. If you do not hear back from us within this time frame please contact us again as it is likely we did not receive your application. Completing this adoption application is a pre-requisite to adopting a rescued Boston Terrier through BTRC. All successful applicants are selected based on the needs of our dogs. BTRC reserves the right to refuse or disallow any application. We receive more qualified applications from good homes than we have Boston Terriers to place, so we can not estimate how long you may wait for the right match. Adoption applications are kept on file for six (6) months or until we identify the right dog for you and your family. We understand applicants are often anxious to bring home their new companion, and may look for a dog from more than one source.
