5 Holiday Party and Membership Meeting. December 2, 2018 The meeting was brought to order, in the home of Leslie Pettengill, by our president Cathy Meddaugh at 7:00 p.m. Members in attendance were: Kathy Felix, Donna Todd, Cathy Meddaugh, Barbara & David Brown, Shari & Kevin Curran, Patti Caldwell, John & Janet Frick, Dawn Morrill, Leslie Pettengill, Laurie Burks Long, Kris Evans, Jon Boede, Shari Degan, Patrick Harden, and Teresa McKenna President Cathy Meddaugh and David Brown report that the March Specialty is in order and paperwork complete. Jon Boede volunteered to be the Show Chairman for the July 2019 Specialty. David Brown will file the paperwork. As Contribution Chairs, Cathy Meddaugh asked Shari Degan if she had received any suggestions from members. A donation to the AKC Humane Fund or to the GRF for Cancer Research. The Members in attendance voted unanimously for the Club to make the end of year donation of $ to GRF for Cancer Research in the name of DFWMGRC New officers for president and member at large for the 2019 Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex GRC will be voted on at the banquet in Leslie Pettengill and Anna Curry are candidates for president and Kris Evans, member at large. Shari Degan request assistance at the Agility Trial in February. She needs people to work in any capacity at the Agility Trial (no experience required, all days, any day, please be available to work at list 4 hours ) January 27, 2019 is our annual Banquet and Awards presentation at Maggiano. Along with the award presentation there will be an election of officers. Reservations and checks should be sent directly to DONNA TODD. Terry Thornton reported that a tracking seminar will be held in Pilot Point January 19 & 20. It is $350 for a working dog and $ to audit the class. Terry at amigoldretrievers@yahoo.com for details. Show and Go - December 30, 2018 at Kathy Ingram s facility located at 1601 E. Blackjack Road, Pilot Point, TX starting at 8 a.m. Sign up begins at 7:30 a.m. Utility and Open start at 8:00, along with Rally Master. Excellent and Advanced/Intermediate.
