2 We have many exciting events planned! Pet Competitions Calling all talented four legged friends (and their parents)!! You will have an opportunity to display your many skills and abilities. And of course, prizes will be awarded for whoever comes out on top. Best Tricks show us what you can do! Best Costume come wow the judges with your creativity! Best in Show dog we d most want to take home (well outside of the oh so darling Bay Area Pet Adoptions doggies, of course) Pet Specialists Want Riley to learn a new trick, or Doobie to learn to sit, or is Little Missy giving you a little attitude? We ll have a Pet Trainer on site to help you with all your training related questions. We ll also have a police dog training session, a flyball demo by K9 Kommotion and other fun activities for you and Rover to participate in. If you want to understand your pet a little better or take home a great momento from Barktoberfest, look for our Pet Caricaturist, Pet Photographer or Pet Psychic on the Jarboe Park grounds. Parade of Adoptable Dogs The wonderful doggies from Bay Area Pet Adoptions will strut their stuff at 12:30, hoping to be lucky enough to find their forever home from someone in the Barktoberfest crowd. And Great Shopping and Food Too! Silent Auction We will have some extremely unique and valuable items available in our Silent Auction. Silent auction donors will be featured on our website and depending on the value will qualify for Barktoberfest sponsorhips and benefits. Please visit our Silent Auction page for more information. Local Vendors on Site Local businesses and individuals specializing in pet and other products & services will exhibit and sell their unique wares at Barktoberfest.
