3 CANCELLATION OF ENTRIES Chapter 13, Section 10 of the Dog Show Rules State: An exhibitor has the right to withdraw an entry. Notice of withdrawal mu be in writing and received by the Show Secretary on or before the official closing date as published in the premium li. MOVING A DOG TO THE SPECIALS CLASS Chapter 13, Section 13, of the dog show rules has been amended to allow a dog which is INDIVIDUALLY REGISTERED AT TIME OF CLOSING in the records of the Canadian Kennel Club, and has completed the requirements of a Championship, after the closing date for entries for a show, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to Specials Only, providing the reque for transfer is submitted to the Show Secretary in WRITING at lea ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE SHOW by the owner or handler. NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The Non-Member Participation Fee is fee paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. ATTENTION ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORS To obtain an ERN simply do the following: Send a photocopy of the dog's regiration certificate reflecting current ownership - with a written reque for an ERN, include full payment in the amount of $58.60 plus applicable tax. Accounts may be paid with personal or business cheque, money order, Visa or Maercard. For Non-Members please note that if paying by cheque, the cheque mu be certified. Non-residents of Canada please note that discounted cheques or money orders will not be accepted due to fluctuating currency rates. Provide us with your full return address. Faxed reques will be accepted. Please include your VISA/MaerCard number,expiry date, cardholder's name and signature. An ERN mu be obtained within 30 day of obtaining points, awards or scores to avoid cancellation. Entry mu be made on a special entry form as provided by the CKC and available from the Show Secretary and mu include the following: a) Name of Club and date of event b) Name, address, telephone number, date of birth, signature of Junior Handler. c) Class entered, breed & catalogue number of dog to be handled. 2. A Junior Handler may compete with any dog entered in the show, provided he/she has the consent of the owner or agent to do so. 3. The Junior Handler will wear the armband number assigned to the dog for the show. 4. If necessary, due to conflict, subitution of dog will be allowed. 5. Dogs being used in competition mu be of appropriate size and temperament for the Junior Handler. If the Junior Handler cannot lift the dog, it is not appropriate in size for the competitor. CLASSES OFFERED AT THIS SHOW The Hamilton Kennel Club Inc. Is pleased to offer Rosettes for Fir to Fourth in each class and a Rosette & Trophy for Be Overall Junior Handler, and ribbons for all participants. Pee Wee - Handlers 4 years of age up to 6 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year. This class is optional and non-competitive. Junior Novice - Handlers 7 to 10 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year, who have not won 6 fir places in the same class with competition. Junior Open -Handlers 7 to 10 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year who have won 6 fir places with competition. Intermediate Novice - Handlers 11 to 14 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year, who have not won 6 fir places in the same class with competition. Intermediate Open -Handlers 11 to 14 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year who have won 6 fir places with competition. Senior Novice -This class is for handlers 15 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year and up to 18 years of age, who have not won 6 fir places with competition in this class. Handlers from the Intermediate levels progress to this class. Senior Open - This class is for handlers 15 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the competition year and up to 18 years of age, who have won 6 fir places with competition in the Senior Novice Class, and for any handler who has progressed through the Intermediate Open level and feels that he has enough experience to compete at this level. BRED BY EXHIBITOR COMPETITION Saturday June 25, 2016 Sponsored by Loyall The Hamilton Kennel Club is pleased to offer an UNOFFICIAL CLASS COMPETITION for breeders who enter the Bred By Exhibitor Class. This class is open only to dogs entered in the bred by class. There is no additional charge for this competition. Judging in this competition will be held after each official class is completed at the breed and group level, by the regular breed judge. Each winner will be eligible to compete for Be Bred by Exhibitor in his or her respective groups. Each group winner of the Be Bred by Exhibitor will be eligible to compete for Be Bred By Exhibitor in Show. A judge will judge be Bred by Exhibitor in Show upon completion of General Specials. A flat ribbon will be awarded at the breed level. A rosette will be awarded to all Group winners in this competition. A Rosette & prize will be awarded to the Be Bred By Exhibitor in Show. 5 6

In no case may a dog earn more than five points at any single show. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. All communication regarding entries should be addressed to the Show Secretary. 2. Entries without a fee will not be accepted. 3. Acknowledgement of entries with a judging schedule will be mailed as soon as possible after the closing date. 4. Make all cheques payable to Diana Edwards Show Services 5. The Club and Diana Edwards Show Services will not be responsible for cash sent through the mail. 6. Returned cheques do not conitute a valid entry fee. A collection fee of $25.00 will be added by Diana Edwards Show Services in addition to any back charges for each returned cheque. 7. There is no refund for duplicate entries. Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries, however if the entry has been processed and appears in the official catalogue, no refund will be made. 8. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that the dog is absent, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, disqualified or barred from competition by action of the bench Committee. 9. If because of riot, civil diurbance or acts of God, it is impossible to open or complete the show, not refund of entries shall be made. 10. Exhibitors mu abide by errors made in entering their dogs, regardless of how or by whom the entries were made. Change or cancellation of any entry after closing time is prohibited. 11. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC rules. 12. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners/Agents are responsible to have their dogs present when their classes are called to be judged. 13. Exhibitors are requeed to keep their groming and crating areas clean and tidy. If space is at a premium, exhibitors mu remove exercise pens if requeed by the Show Superintendent.
