Entry Fee: $4.00 per dog for conformation 2. entries Close at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, Entries can be made at Fair office or by mailing to Becky Baker. Conformation dogs will be judged Saturday, August 25, 2018, after demonstration on Saturday. 3. Photo Copy of vaccination certificate or favorable titer test results must be turned in with entry form. Plus copy of dog licenses. 4. All dogs must be 4 months or older to be entered and attend fair. 5. Crates will be furnished or you may bring your own. No x-pens. 6. Open dogs are required to be on stand Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. until conformation show is finished. 7. No awards shall be given to any dog that is not on stand as stated above, nor will any premiums be paid. With the exception of dogs in season. Any female in season can show, but will not be on stand. Female must leave the fairgrounds after showing. 8. All dogs shall be registered to be in the dog house. 9. All shots must be given by a licensed, veterinarian, to each and every canine or Favorable Titer Test Results. However, vaccinations may be given by an owner/breeder as long as proof to the vaccinations can be given in writing with labels from the bottles to the Dog Department Secretary. 10. Dogs must be vaccinated against distemper, parvovirus, and Adenovirus Type II (CAV)-2) and parainfluenza (CPI) and Bordetella within the last 12 months prior to the closing date of the exhibit. 11. All dogs must be immunized against rabies by a licensed, veterinarian within thirty-six months prior to the closing date of the exhibit. 12. Any dog having won best in show in the last (1) year will not be allowed to enter for competition in conformation. The dog however may be shown as exposition only. 13. The open class dog show shall be judged by a conformation judge or an experienced handler. 14. Altered dogs shall be accepted to show in conformation. barn rules 15. Positively no owners or dogs shall be permitted to stay in the dog house after closing time. 16. All Dogs should enter the North Gate on Martz. All fair tickets must have proper stamp on fair ticket to enter gate. 17. Any dog that is not under control at all times, will be dismissed. 18. All kennels will be securely fastened when dog is in crate. 19. All crates will be assigned and will not be changed unless approved by open show secretary. 20. All decisions of show secretary and superintendent are final. 21. Grooming can be done in dog house but no fees or donations will be allowed. 22. Respect to other exhibitors must be shown at all times and any mistreatment of any dog will not be tolerated.

Must have a Darke County Agricultural ticket to enter, plus entry fees. 2. Must provide vaccination certificate to be allowed to show in obedience match. All vaccinations must be in order as stated in exhibitor regulations. 3. Exhibitor Regulations. a. All shots must be given by a licensed veterinarian to each and every canine OR a favorable titer test results may be provided. i. Vaccinations may be given by an owner/breeder as long as proof of the vaccinations can be given in writing with labels to the Dog Department Secretary. b. Proof of vaccinations, as well as a copy of current dog license, are due to the Dog Department Secretary by July 21, 2018, and must accompany entry form. i. Vaccinations required: 1. Vaccination Certificate or Favorable Titer Test Results. Including Bordetella and Rabies. c. All dogs must be at least 4 months old or older to be entered and attend fair. 4. entries Close at 12:00 P.M. The decision of the Judge, Superintendent and Show Secretary shall be final. 12. Same handler must show dog all day. Handlers may not be changed with the exception of two dogs in the same class for sit and down exercises. 13. Must be present to win High in Trial Award. Veterans may enter any regular class to be considered for this award. Award to be given to the veteran with the highest obedience score from any of the regular classes and will be awarded to one (1) handler and dog team. 4-H Trophy & $10.00 Award to be given to a 4-H exhibitor/dog team with the highest obedience score from any of the regular classes and will be awarded to one (1) handler and dog team. Qverall High in Trial Trophy & $10.00 Award to be given to exhibitor/dog team with the highest obedience score from any of the regular classes and will be awarded to one (1) handler and dog team. Veteran handler and dog teams, as well as, 4-H handler and dog teams may qualify for this award.

Confirmation Class will follow Saturday s demonstration. Also, Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 1:00 P.M., there will be a Pee Wee show. Only dogs entered at the Fair will be allowed to be shown. Only family members ages 4 thru 8 will be allowed to show. All children showing must know the dog they are handling. Children can show in either obedience or showmanship but not both.
