No. KKR-3/2014 will be held on 21 st March, Call letters to the below mentioned shortlisted candidates have already been sent by post. If Call Letter is not received due to postal delay or any other reason, he/she may download the specimen Call Letter (below) and attend the Interview along with the documents mentioned therein. (i) (ii) The Essential Qualifications (EQ) prescribed for the post is:- Bachelor s Degree in Mathematics/ Mathematical Statistics/Computer Science/ Computer Application/Statistics of a recognized University or Equivalent. Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 (Eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour for Data Entry Work. The shortlisting criteria adopted is for UR/OBC with 75% and above marks and all eligible candidates of ST in EQ (i). No. KKR- 3/2014 Conduct of Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) - Regarding वप रय अभ यथ, / Dear candidate, With reference to your candidature for the above mentioned recruitment, I am to inform you that you have been provisionally shortlisted for appearing in DEST. Accordingly you are advised to present yourself as per the above programme on at Vemana Institute of Technology, MahayogiVemana Road, Near BDA Complex, Koramangala, Bangalore The Essential Qualifications (EQ) prescribed for the post are:- (i) Bachelor s Degree in Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Application/Statistics of a recognized University or Equivalent. (ii) Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 (Eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour for Data Entry Work. 3. The shortlisting criteria adopted is UR/OBC with 75% and above marks in EQ and all eligible candidates of ST category. Therefore, you may satisfy yourself of possessing the marks in accordance with the above criteria before appearing for DEST. 4. Your candidature is PROVISIONAL. You must therefore ensure that you fulfill all the conditions of eligibility including the Essential Qualifications as laid down in the Advertisement/Notice of the examination. If at any stage it is found that you do not fulfill any of the conditions of eligibility, your candidature will be cancelled and no appeal against such cancellation will be entertained. The fact that you have been called for DEST does not confer any right to be treated as eligible for appointment or to be considered for Interview at a later date which will be intimated by the Commission. To avoid any disappointment at a later stage, you are advised to recheck whether you meet all the eligibility criteria laid down on the crucial date prescribed for the post/examination in question. 5. You should bring this Call Letter and also two passport size photographs along with Photo bearing Original Identity Card. 6. The Commission will not be responsible for late / non-receipt of this letter due to postal delay or any other reason beyond the control of the Commission. 7. No TA/DA is admissible for attending DEST. 8. Canvassing in any form will result in cancellation of your candidature. 9. 5 Instructions to candidates for Data Entry Speed Test 1. The Commission will provide the computer for the tests. No candidate will be allowed to bring his own key board. 2. The skill test will consist of one paper on running matter in the following manner Post Skill Test Norms Data Entry Operator Gr. B Data Entry of approx key depressions (Time allowed 15 minutes) 3. Candidates are required to report to the Supervisor half-an-hour before the commencement of the test, or at the reporting time indicated on their Call letter. 4. Travelling and other expenses must be borne by the candidates themselves. 5. The candidates will be required to take their seat ten minutes before commencement of the test. If the computer goes out of order, the candidate should not shout or disturb others, but should remain seated quietly and inform the Invigilator. 6. Candidates should type their particulars (Roll No., etc.) in the space provided on the screen, verify his/her personal details on the next screen and press the button CONFIRM. 7. After completing typing of the running passage once, candidates should not re-type the passage. If spare time is available, candidates should utilize the time for checking the typescript and making corrections. 8. Immediately after the test is over, the candidate will have to write in his/her own handwriting one paragraph of about words from the Data Entry passage given to him/her on a separate sheet and will have to put his/her name, Roll No. and signature at the end. 9. Candidates should not tear any sheet given to them. When the printout of the passage typed by him is given to him he/she must write his/her roll no. and name on each page, sign and handover to the Invigilator. 10. Candidate must return the Question Paper along with their scripts to the Invigilator. They should not take either the Question Paper or script or any blank typing paper out of the Examination Hall. 11. Every candidate will be supplied with Attendance Sheet with his/her Roll Number. He/she will be required to sign it and put his/her Left Hand Thumb Impression before the beginning of the Test. 12. Candidates shall not be permitted to leave the Examination Hall until the expiry of the Test. 13. On completion of the test, they shall remain seated at their desks and wait until their scripts are collected and accounted for. They must not type, write or erase after the expiry of the allotted time. 14. Silence must be observed in the Examination Hall. 15. Smoking/chewing tobacco in Examination Hall is strictly prohibited. 16. Candidates must abide by further instructions, if any, which may be given to them by the Supervisor. If any candidate fails to do so or indulges in disorderly or improper conduct he/she will render himself/herself liable to expulsion from the test or such other penalty as the Commission may deem fit. 17. Any request for change in time/date/centre of the Data Entry Test will not be entertained by the Commission under any circumstances. 18. Candidates must start typing from the beginning of the question paper and must complete the whole passage. 19. Absence from skill test will disqualify the candidate from the said Recruitment.
