1 April 27-28, 2019 Overview Celebrating its 29th anniversary, the Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival is an award-winning weekend-long, familyfriendly event which attracts more than 30,000 people and features lavish landscape designs, garden sculptures, fountains, ponds, flowers and plants, trees and shrubs, unique gifts, garden-themed art and furniture, an entire area dedicated to children, great food and live music! Presented by the Town of Leesburg and organized by their National Gold Medal Winning Parks & Recreation Department, the festival has been voted Best of Loudoun #1 Community Festival & Event by Leesburg Today (now Loudoun Now) readers for more than 20 years running. Historic downtown Leesburg offers the ideal setting for this lovely, annual event, as the streets are lined with floral, garden and other types of vendors, plus live performance stages which are situated in two different areas. The Main Stage, located on the Courthouse lawn, and the Children s Stage, on Cornwall Street, both offer a place for visitors to enjoy music, dance, and more. The Beer Garden, located on the Town Green, is also very popular. The Children s Stage features performances for children all weekend long, such as theatre, music, animal exhibits, and dance performances. Children s activity tables include a variety of arts and crafts and a paint station with oversized cutouts. 5 Booth Space Sponsor Rules and Regulations Thank you for your interest in participating in a Town of Leesburg event. This form contains the guidelines that apply to all sponsors with a booth space at one of the Town s events. The Town of Leesburg s Department of Parks and Recreation coordinates various events throughout the year. All participating sponsors that will have a booth space at an event are required to read, sign and submit this Event Sponsor Rules and Regulations form. Sponsors are ambassadors of each event and shall act accordingly. Your cooperation in helping maintain the family and community-oriented atmosphere is essential to the continued success and enjoyment of the events here in Leesburg. Customer service is of the utmost importance to the Town of Leesburg and to our guests. Poor customer service or complaints thereof will result in the review of a sponsor s ability to participate in future events. Town of Leesburg events are rain or shine. It is strongly recommended that booth sponsors bring a canopy/tent on the day of the event. To ensure the safety and privacy of our event guests, all participating booth space sponsors are required to: Have the name of their company or organization affixed to their tent, table or display. The name displayed at the booth space must match the name on the commitment form; Stay within their booth space during the course of the event. Sponsors may not leave their space to approach/solicit event attendees; Protect the privacy of event attendees by agreeing to not share any personal/contact information they gather at the event; Obtain permission from any company from whom a giveaway or prize will be advertised at the sponsor s booth space at the event (for example: displaying a gift card from another company as the prize for your company s raffle). Participating booth space sponsors may NOT: Use the Town of Leesburg or the event logo and/or name in any direct marketing to event attendees; Share personal information given by attendees at any Town of Leesburg event; Sublet their booth space, or a portion of their booth space, to any other company or organization.
