Triad Dog Games is a fundraising and outreach opportunity for The Sergei Foundation, Inc., a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to save companion pets lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care... Because They re Family. WHAT IS TRIAD DOG GAMES? A high-energy event bringing people and their pets together in a family-friendly atmosphere. It showcases dogs running, jumping, diving, and retrieving in dog sport competitions such as agility, disc (Frisbee), dock jumping and flyball. Triad Dog Games was the first, and continues to be the exclusive sport-dog competition in the NC Piedmont Triad area featured its first nationalqualifying DiscDogathon competition, and 2016 added a sanctioned flyball competition. Ultimate Air Dogs dock jumping competition is always a favorite as well. The event draws competitors from Ohio to Georgia and over 5,000 spectators from more than 30 counties in the state of North Carolina. Vendors, food trucks! In addition to supporting The Sergei Foundation s mission and being aligned with the goodwill of the petlover community, there are many benefits for becoming a sponsor/partner, including: Projected attendance: Weather dependent from 1,000-3,000. As a fundraising event for The Sergei Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, your contributions may be fully or partially tax-decuctible. YOUR SUPPORT EXTENDS BEYOND THE SERGEI FOUNDATION The Sergei Foundation realizes the importance of working collaboratively with other animal welfare non-profit groups. We all help our communities and the animals better when we work efficiently and effectively together versus separtely. The Sergei Foundation offers complimentary adoption fair space at Triad Dog Games for 501c3 rescue groups or shelters. Your sponsorship/partnership allows us not only to raise funds for our cause, but also creates an opportunity for pet adoptions. 5 ABOUT THE SERGEI FOUNDATION The Sergei Foundation, Inc. serves people and their sick and injured pets in North Carolina. It was founded in September 2009 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Named after the founder s Siberian Husky, The Sergei Foundation was founded with the mission of saving companion pets lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care. Applicants must meet income criteria and show a history of past vet care for the pet. Established to provide unique and unparalleled services in its programs, most rescues or other animal welfare non-profits do not provide funding for pet care once the animal has been adopted and labeled a companion pet. If they do provide funding, it is minimal, typically does not cover diagnostics, and is not enough to save a pet from a truly life-threatening illness or injury, especially when surgery is needed. There is an unanswered need for veterinary financial assistance for lower to moderate-income pet owners, especially for those families who cannot afford diagnostics before proper veterinary treatment can be performed. The Sergei Foundation was formed to serve this great need and prevent the unfavorable alternative of unnecessary euthanasia. In eight years of operation, The Sergei Foundation has served thousands of people and has aided them in saving their pets lives, just like the few shown on this page. Traditional media will be promoted a few weeks prior to the event. All web and social media will start to be promoted at least 5-6 months prior! When evaluating the value for your sponsorship, please consider the gross impressions and goodwill over this extended period. Note: For the exclusive levels, we are happy to customize sponsorships to your business and goodwill/ community goals. (For example, exchange TV exposure for onsite VIP catered area if your sponsor goals include more personal interaction). The Sergei Foundation reserves the right to decline any sponsorship interest based on existing event sponsorship/industry exclusiveness agreements. However, when signed by both parties, this application will constitute an agreement between The Sergei Foundation and the listed event sponsor. Sponsorships of $1,000 or more include a vendor space as a benefit, and a separate vendor agreement will be sent.
