We need to find out the following and make notes in our books: What sort of animal it is - fish, bird, mammal, reptile, etc. What the animals look like colour, size, coats, ears, eyes, legs, etc. Where the animals live country (hot or cold), their homes (nests, burrows, in trees or under the ground), etc. How they raise their young what the babies are called, how they feed, how long they stay with their parents, etc. What they eat and how they get their food. What noises they make try to make sound words for these. MISSION 2 Create a mind map for your research on ONE of your animals. MISSION 3 Draw pictures of the following: Your two animals Their babies Their homes The food they eat Animal Magic

3 MISSION 5 Design face painting masks for both your animals. Make sure you only use the following colours: black, white, brown, green, blue, yellow, and red. MISSION 6 Now produce a WORD-PROCESSED version of your poem for best. You may add a clipart picture if you like. MISSION 7 Now rehearse your poem aloud. You are going to perform it! Animal Magic
