1 4-H Laying Flock Project Book By signing I am stating that I have completed as much of the work in this project book myself as possible to the best of my the information included in it is Signature _ Date _ Signature Date Signature Date Submit Project Books to County Agent

2 Record Keeping It is important for you to keep records for a few reasons:./ To keep track of work done and costs of your poultry project../ You will have a record of all of your 4-H accomplishments in one place../ To show self-improvement and service to others../ To explain what you have learned../ To train yourself for future work../ To learn how to organize yourself../ This material can be used as a part of your 4-H Record Book at the County and State levels. When completing your project book, please keep these things in mind:./ Do as much of the work as possible on your own with little help from your parents. The overall project book should reflect your work, not your parents../ Be creative. It is ok if you provide this information in another book or even as a scrapbook. Just be sure to keep the order the same and ensure that all information asked for in this book is provided in the one you turned in. Also remember that winning books often provide more than what is asked for../ Be neat and organized../ Thoroughly complete each page of your project book. Do not leave a question blank. If there is no answer for a question explain why. If there is not enough room for your answer provide additional pages as needed../ Take lots of pictures throughout your project../ Turn your project book in to your local 4-H agent by mid-october (Exact date to be announced.)./ HAVE FUN!!
