1 All birds will be judged in cages. Birds will be judged by comparison and the APA, NPA, ABA Standard of Perfection Birds showing evidence of a contagious disease or parasite will be disqualified and asked to leave fairgrounds. All Non Open Market Small Stock entries must meet the rules of the Small Stock Association and Greenlee County to be eligible to show at the Greenlee County Fair. Greenlee County follows the rules and regulations instituted by the Arizona Department of Agriculture concerning Livestock Health, transportation, and out of State Livestock requirements. Exhibitors Entering the Small Stock Association Division must keep and submit an acceptable record book on their animal(s) following record book guildines for their club organization. All Livestock entered may not have been shown at any other County Fair. Exhibitors entering under the Small Stock Association must turn in exhibit entry form to Fairgrounds office by 08/17/2018. The Ag education display is to be turned in to the Fair office by 09/04/2018. Those who meet these requirements will receive a gate pass to enter to feed animals daily during fair. The Livestock barn will be open to set up pen's on 09/12/2018; 4:00 PM until 7 PM. The Barn will be locked down at 7:00 PM on 09/12/2018, no EXCEPTIONS. The barn will open at 7 AM 09/13/2018 for receiving of Small Stock. Greenlee County will provide Shavings for pens. The exhibitor will be required to display a stall card for each exhibit. Greenlee County will provide the stall cards. The information that will be required on the stall card: name of the exhibitor, breed of animal, and age of animal. This information will be filled out on the entry form. Greenlee County requires all exhibitors to be able to handle and control their animal. It is highly recommended the exhibitor handle, wash and feed their own animals and when needed be assisted by another youth ehibitor or leader. Greenlee County requires Youth Exhibitors to be dressed according to their club dress code for exhibiton and sale. Classes will be set by breed standards by the superintendents and Small Stock Association. Pens and allies must be kept clean throughout fair. Final cleaning of pen will be Sunday after animals are released or exhibitor will be fined $25.00, which will be deducted from the exhibitor's sale or premium check. Exhibitor will have until 3:00 PM on Sunday to clean. Each exhibitor is responsible for proper security of his/her animal. All animals should be fed and watered normally while residing at the fairrgrounds. Each exhibitor is required to provide their own feed.
