1 FITOSANITARY ACTION: Insecticide, Nematicide. ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Carbofuran. FORMULATION: Granules. TECHNICAL INFORMATION RIMAFURAN 10 GR MODE OF ACTION: RIMAFURAN 10 GR is a systemic insecticide which acts by ingestion and contact for the controls of plagues in crops indicated here. FITOTOXICIDAD: RIMAFURAN 10 GR is not phytotoxic at recommended doses and crops. COMPATIBILIDAD: RIMAFURAN 10 GR should not be mixed with other pesticides. Propanil cannot be applied after up to 30 days after having applied Rimafuran and likewise happens with a propanil application, 3 days have to be waited before applying this product. TOXICOLOGY: Toxicological category: II MODERATELY HAZARDOUS Oral LD 50 : Acute oral: male and female rats: c. 8 mg/kg. Dermal and ocular LD 50 : Acute subcutaneous for male and female rats: >2.000 mg/kg/24 h. Warning phrase: HARMFUL Toxicological band: Yellow. HOW TO USE OR APPLICATION: APPLICATION EQUIPMENT: RIMAFURAN 10 GR can be applied with pumps for granules provided it is well calibrated. It can be applied broadcast protecting hands with rubber gloves. RIMAFURAN 10 GR does not exert any Chemical action over the application equipment; however once used it has to be washed and has to receive appropriate maintenance. During product preparation and application and washing of the application equipment: Gloves, hat, rubber boots, respirator, long sleeve shirt and long pants should be worn. HOW TO PREPARE THE MIXTURE: RIMAFURAN 10 GR is directly applied in the field.

4 STORAGE AND TRANSPORT: Store and transport the product in fresh, dry and ventilated places, away from food, forage and medicines. Keep it in its original container, hermetically closed and labeled. This product is inflammable and corrosive. INTERVAL BETWEEN APPLICATION AND HARVEST: Banana crop 0 days. PERIOD FOR REENTRY TO THE TREATED AREA: 24 hours should be waited before entering into the treated area otherwise, wear full personal protection equipment. INTOXICATION SYMPTOMS: head ache, dizziness, extreme weakness, blurry vision, muscular twitches, tremors, convulsions, nauseas, local irritation local, chest oppression and excessive sweating. FIRST AID: By ingestion: Provoke vomiting by giving to drink ipecac syrup at a dose of 15 ml for children and 30 ml for adults, if such syrup is not available give to drink two glasses of water and rub tongue s base with a finger or blunt object. Seek immediate medical attention. By inhalation: Remove the patient to a ventilated and dry place. Loosen clothing and check respiration. By contact with the skin: Remove clothing and wash the affected part with plenty of water and soap. By contact with the eyes: Wash immediately the affect area with plenty of clean water during 15 minutes. ANTIDOTE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT: Its specific antidote is Atropine Sulfate. The use of morphine, phenothiazine or any kind of central stimulants is contraindicated. In case of intoxication remember to notify the Ministry of Intoxication. MEASURES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: toxic to fishes and crustaceans, do not pollute rivers, lakes and ponds with this product, containers or empty packages. HANDLING CONTAINERS, PACKAGES, WASTES AND REMAINDERS: Use the full content of the container, when empty, wash and rinse three times with clean water and add resulting water to the mixture already prepared, disable empty containers, perforate them. If the country has an official container recollection and disposal program, deliver them to the nearest recollection center or dispose of them in agreement with the instructions of the product distributor. In case of a spillage apply saw dust or another absorbing material; collect this material in a hermetically closed container and hand it to the distributor.
