Injection of 4,000-8,000 IU ( ml) per kg of body weight; increase or decrease depending on symptoms. Perform one deep intramuscular injection daily. Prevention and treatment of acute or chronic mastitis caused by gram positive or negative bacteria, or various local symptoms caused by bacteria, such as chapping or erosion of the udders, inflammation of the mammary ducts, fistula, abscesses, balanoposthitis, otitis externa, conjunctivitis, keratitis, and furunculosis. After all milk has been squeezed from infected mammary ducts, inject a syringe full into the teats of the injected area. Withdrawal period: Milk may not be used for human consumption within 72 hours after the final injection. All milk or necrotic tissue in udders must be squeezed out before treatment. Use continuously at intervals of 24 hours until udders and milk are normal. In the case of mastitis caused by Streptococci or Staphylococci, ideally use at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. Cattle, horses: ml. Pigs, goats: 5-20 ml. Dogs, cats: 2-5 ml. Or an initial dose of ml per kg of body weight; reduce maintenance dose to one-half. Once daily, use intravenous, intramuscular or peritoneal injection; however, sheep and goats may receive an injection twice daily. Withdrawal period: 10 days; milk rejection period: 96 hours. Offers broad-spectrum anti-bacterial effectiveness. Respiratory system: pneumonia, bronchitis, and bronchitis. Digestive diseases: bacterial diarrhea, gastroenteritis. Urinary/reproductive disease: metritis, vaginitis, pueperal fever, nephritis, and cystitis. Protozoal disease: toxoplasmosis. General infections: septicemia, bacterial agalactosis, wound infection, and bacterial infection after surgery or birth. Administer by intramuscular injection to most animals (do not use intravenous injection). Inject ml per kg of body weight once daily. Increase or decrease dose in view of disease condition.
