Control bacteria and keep livestock beds drier for longer

Natural products from the seabed Living marine algae Dead, calcareous marine algae and its honeycombed structure - from which Dri-Li Extra is made

Why use a bedding conditioner? To remove moisture and promote a dry, clean environment for livestock To control harmful bacteria, such as those implicated in environmental mastitis in dairy cows To increase animal comfort and welfare Maintaining clean, dry bedding in areas such as cow cubicles, calf and lambing pens, pig and poultry housing, and horse stables is a critical factor in the control of harmful bacteria and other micro-organisms. Damp bedding areas provide the ideal conditions for these organisms to thrive, so by adopting hygiene routines that keep beds dry, any disease-causing organisms will be deprived of the moisture necessary for their survival. The type of bedding used in livestock housing can also promote bacterial growth. Traditionally, bedding materials such as straw, sawdust or waste paper are used. While these materials do improve animal comfort levels, research has shown that they can also create the exact conditions bacteria need to thrive. By using a bedding conditioner such as Dri-Li Extra, which combines exceptional moisture absorbency properties with biocidal activity, you can promote a healthier, more comfortable environment for your livestock.

Why choose Dri-Li Extra? Excellent Biocidal Activity Independent laboratory tests have highlighted the effectiveness of Dri-Li Extra against Strep. uberis, Staph. aureus and E. coli three of the key dairy cow mastitis-causing bacteria. Ingredients in Dri-Li Extra meet the requirements of the Biocidal Products Directive. Escherichia coli Count Contact Time (Hours) Calcified Dri-Li Seaweed Extra Staphylococcus aureus Count Contact Time (Hours) Calcified Dri-Li Seaweed Extra Streptococcus uberis Count Contact Time (Hours) Calcified Dri-Li Seaweed Extra Superior Moisture Absorption Dri-Li Extra is a non irritant, natural product based on calcified seaweed. It is convenient to use and the honeycombed physical structure of the calcified seaweed creates an exceptionally large surface area for soaking up moisture. Odour Control Dri-Li Extra will help eliminate ammonia and control odours from livestock bedding. Addition of Dri-Li Extra to slurry reduced ammonia by almost 95% in 2 hours Immediately after the addition of Dri-Li Extra, unpleasant odours were eliminated Ammonia reduction in slurry Ammonia Concentration ppm 2 ppm 4 ppm 1 2 Time (Hours)

Dri-Li Extra helps control bacteria in bedding to promote a healthier, more comfortable animal environment. Ingredients in Dri-Li Extra meet the requirements of the Biocidal Products Directive. Dri-Li Extra is a unique bedding conditioner. Based on calcified seaweed harvested off the coasts of Ireland and Iceland, it offers exceptional moisture absorbency potential. Benefits: Promotes a healthier livestock environment by controlling bacteria populations in livestock bedding Exceptional moisture absorbancy to keep livestock bedding drier for longer Removes obnoxious odours Natural product based on calcified seaweed Non-irritant and non hazardous Improved waste breakdown Convenient and easy to use
