2 Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP have been favoured by Downton Estates to conduct the ninth on-farm sale at The Brakes Farm, Downton on The Rock, Ludlow. Dowton Estates are renowned for large numbers of quality Suffolk and Texel x North Country Mule lambs which are born from ewes on the Heptavac P system. All lambs are tailed and castrated, were vaccinated for Orf at birth, Ovivac P at 6-10 weeks, wormed at weaning together with Cobalt at weaning and clicked in Mid-May. All lambs EID tagged. This year s crop of ewe lambs will include approximately 1250 sired by New Zealand Suffolk Rams which are known for their exceptional maternal instincts, reduced lameness, fewer dags and wedge shape for trouble free lambing and improved conformation. 3 Conditions of Sale The sale is conducted under the Livestock Auctioneers General Conditions of Sale displayed at Bridgnorth Livestock Market. Settlement & Removal of Stock Settlement is due in full immediately at the end of the sale. No animal will leave without an official pass slip. All animals to be removed on sale day although lairage can be arranged with prior notification. Directions to Sale (Postcode SY8 2HU) Brakes Farm is located in Downton on the Rock. From the south, proceed along the A49 through Ludlow turning left along A4115 to Leintwardine. After approximately 2 miles, turn left signposted Downton.
