1 LUDLOW MARKET SALE NEWS MONDAY 22 nd OCTOBER 2018 FINISHED CATTLE 260 An entry with some very ordinary cattle in the clean section. Quality was in short supply. A lot of the cattle looked as though they have suffered from a dry long summer, which of course they have. Prices were as follows:- Estimated deadweight Top Av. Ex K.K.C.F. & S.B.O. 2 BARREN COWS & OLD BULLS 52 A trade which is under real pressure. A lot of plain cows in the entry and several non FABBL cows, this didn t help. Prices were as follows:- Grade 1 Cows to 129.5p av p Grade 2 Cows to 119.5p av Grade 3 Cows to 112.5p av p Grade 4 Cows to 109.5p av. 64.9p Cull Bulls to 118.5p av. 91.7p Overall average FINISHED SHEEP 2,236 A lamb trade which was about and about.
