Free CPD The final lecture in the Osurnia Roadshow, led by expert dermatology specialist Sue Paterson, is now available online, offering free CPD for all vets and vet nurses. It also helps to get them back into practice, allowing you to check the dog s ear as well as bond more with that client that s very important when managing otitis cases. Sue described how acute cases of OE should be tackled: For me, Osurnia is a great first-line product and I use it because of the benefits for owner compliance and its spectrum of activity for gram positive infections. If we manage acute disease much better, we will see fewer chronic and recurrent cases if we manage them better, they re less likely to progress to pseudomonas. Welcome advice Potts Redmond, who attended the final Roadshow in St Helens, said it was great to have the advice of a specialist in relation to managing such a common condition. She said: Sue's assessment of Osurnia suggests it is likely to be a good first choice for acute OE cases, which echoes the results I've seen so far. Administering the product in the consultation takes the onus away from clients who can find it very stressful.
