1 Eastern Small Blotched Python (Normal Form) Liasis maculosus, Anteresia maculosus U2818 A small python from the eastern parts of QLD. Generally light brown in colour, with chocolate markings that are usually in larger blotches. Light reflects off its skin in an amazing colour display. Good, stable, and hardy. Can be snappy when young. to 1.3 metres, generally 1.1 metres. $ 4 - $ 10 Easy Eastern Small Blotched Python (Blond Form) Liasis maculosus, Anteresia maculosus U2818 A small python from Cape York in QLD. General colouring is a pale brown to honey, with chocolate markings that are usually in larger blotches. Blotches are centered on a semi continuous marking down the dorsal surface Good, stable, and hardy. Can be snappy when young. to 1.4 metres, generally 1.2 metres. $ 4 - $ 10 Easy

General colour is brown, with darker brown markings, and a myriad of colour from the refracting of light on the skin s surface. Good, stable, and hardy. Can be snappy when young. to 1.2 metres, generally 1.0 metre. $ 4 - $ 10 Easy Large Blotched Python (Stimson s Python) Liasis stimsoni, Anteresia stimsoni W2819 A small python from the arid interior of NT, WA and SA. General colouring is light brown with chocolate markings, usually arranged in large blotches. Has a lateral line of pigmentation extending from the head down the neck. Good. Can be snappy when young but usually reluctant to bite. to 1.5 metres, generally 1.2 metres. $ 4 - $ 10 Easy

3 Coastal Carpet Python (Carpet Snake) Morelia spilota mcdowelli T2024 A large python from the eastern parts of Australia. Can have a variety of different colours, usually dark olive to brown, with light brown, honey or yellow markings arranged in random patterns Notorious for being snappy when young. Usually stable and friendly when older to 3.0 metres, generally metres. $ 4 - $ 15 Moderate Murray Darling Carpet Python (Inland Carpet) Morelia spilota metcalfei T2026 A large python from locations along the Murray Darling River System. Dark brown to dark blue base colouring, with blotches and lines of light blue to grey arranged in random patterns Good, stable, and hardy. Notorious for being snappy when young, but quiet when older to 2.7 metres, generally 2.1 metres. $ 4 - $ 15 Moderate

4 Centralian Carpet Python (Bredl s Python) Morelia bredli W2623 A large python from the Red Centre. Typically rusty brown to red with light brown to green markings arranged in bands across the body. Typically have a big, boofy head Typically gentle when older, can be snappy when young. to 2.7 metres, generally 2.2 metres. $ 5 - $ 16 Moderate Diamond Python Morelia spilota spilota T2027 A large python from the eastern seaboard of central NSW. Typically green to olive in colour, with beautiful green, yellow or white diamond patterning. Regarded as the most beautiful python, both in colour and nature. Generally excellent, however could be aloof and snappy when young to 2.7 metres, generally 2.1 metres. Rec: Heated timber cage and outside sun-cage. $ 4 - $ 12 Complex

5 Psuedo Jungle Carpet Python Morelia spilota mcdowelli T2024 Beautifully marked Coastal Carpet pythons that have all the same attributes as Coastals, but exceptionally good markings, often appearing to be similar to Jungle Carpet Pythons. Snappy when young. Usually stable and friendly when older to 3.0 metres, generally metres. $ 5 - $ 16 Moderate Honey Jungle Carpet Python Morelia spilota cheynei T2023 A large python from Nth Queensland around the Atherton Tablelands. Honeylike base colouring with brown to green or black markings and a lemon to yellow belly. The honey form of the Jungle Carpet is extremely placid, both as a young animal and when older. to 2.7 metres, generally 2.1 metres. Rec: Heated timber cage and outside sun-cage. $ 5 - $ 15 Moderate

6 Centralian Bearded Dragon Pogona vitticeps Y2204 A medium sized lizard from the central parts of Australia. Grey, brown, tan, yellow or orange in colour with brown to orange or purple markings on the back. Have a tail of reasonable length and clawed digits on each foot. Excellent, almost bulletproof when older. to 60 cm inc. tail, usually 45-50cm. Rec: Glass cage with basking lamp & heatpad Rec: Glass cage with basking lamps $ 7 - $ 15 Moderate Pygmy Bearded Dragon (Black soil Dragon) Pogona henrylawsonii G2775 The smallest of the Bearded Dragons from the smallest geographical area. Tan to yellow in colour with brown to grey markings across the back. A medium length tail and clawed digits on each foot. Excellent. Must be restrained if taken outdoors as loves to run. An excellent pet for any age. to 33cm inc tail, usually 20-25cm. Rec: Glass cage with basking lamp & heatpad Rec: Glass cage with basking lamps $ 7 - $ 15 Moderate

7 Murray Short-necked Turtle (Penny Turtle) Emydura macquarii E2034 A medium sized turtle from the Murray Darling River System. Green to olive coloured shell, with green/grey skin. Young turtles are the size of a penny, giving them the nickname penny turtle A playful, robust turtle. Very inquisitive. Predatory to many aquatic animals to 30cm carapace length, usually 20cm. JUVENILE TANK ADULT TANK COST TO KEEP (P/W) RATING Rec: Small glass tank with shallow water. Rec: Large glass tank or pond with deeper water $ 4 - $ 8 Easy Eastern Long-necked Turtle (Snake-necked Turtle) Chelodina longicollis C2017 A medium sized turtle from the eastern parts of QLD, NSW and most of VIC. Distinctive long neck, usually dark green to olive/black in colour, with orange markings on the belly (plastron) An inquisitive turtle that is very robust.
