1 Threatened and endemic species 1

2 Biodiversity Fauna species with some level ofthreat in ISAGEN influence areas as at December 2015 In 2015, we found 75 endangered species and endemic terrestrial fauna including birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, added to 20 fish species, for a total of 95 endangered species in the direct influence areas of our power plants and projects. The results were higher than those registered in 2014 (92), given that in 2015, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) pursued the reevaluation of some species, which have been reclassified. Similarly, population studies enabled to determine that some species have been recovered and have, therefore, been reclassified, either by changing or removing them from the list of endangered species. Furthermore, progress in species genetic studies led to determining the classification of some of those species that are similar or have similar characteristics; therefore, some have been removed and others have been grouped with others that were considered different before. CR EN Critically endangered Endangered When, in accordance with certain criteria, it is established that extinction in the wild is very likely. When facing a high risk of extinction or population deterioration in the wild in the near future. VU Vulnerable Will be endangered in the medium term. NT LC DD Near threatened Least concern Data deficient Close to qualify for an endangered category in the near future. Not meeting any of the criteria category as endangered, critically endangered, vulnerable or near threatened of the Red List. When available data is not sufficient to establish its conservation status. NE Not evaluated Specie not evaluated for any of the other categories. EI Unpublished specie Specie discovered and described but not yet scientifically published. NS New specie Specie recently discovered, described and published. 2
