3 Membership Report By Marian Fenlon There was one first readings at the January meeting. It was for: Christina & Mark Besaw 1316 Buttonbush Way, Neenah, WI (920) or Special Interest: Doberman Pinscher Christina & Mark Besaw have owned purebred dogs for over 22 years. They are applying for Household Membership status in the Oshkosh Kennel Club. They currently own two Dobermans. They have previously exhibited in Agility placing titles on their dogs in Agility Excellent, Excellent Agility Jumpers and Canine Good Citizen. There are interested in joining the OKC as it would allow them to be able to train indorrs on regulation equipment with a more diverse group of handlers.. They are interested in committee assignments in agility. They are being sponsored by Elli Lang and Kandi Bever. If anyone has a question about any prospective member or have anything they would like to say about them before their second readings please contact any member of the Board of Directors or myself. Thank you. There were no second readings at January meeting BACK TO BACK SPRING CONFORMATION SHOWS MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW... SATURDAY, MAY 19 & SUNDAY, MAY 20, 2018 SUNNYVIEW EXPO CENTER As we get welcome in 2018 we thought it prudent to be certain that the membership is aware that once again OKC will be hosting their 2018 all-breed conformation shows back to back in May at the Sunnyview Expo Center. The dates are Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20, This is weekend also brings obedience and rally trials to the OKC training facility. Please mark your calendars now as this will be an "All Hands On Deck" weekend for the kennel club. Volunteers will be needed in many capacities throughout the weekend at both venues. Schedules will be flexible so no worries if you are planning to exhibit. In coming months look for regular newsletter features, updates, and volunteer needs tied to these events... Know that it is the time, talents, and dedication of this membership that make OKC such a successful club.
