1 What is a Sieger Show? 2015 USA-BOX National Sieger Show FAQ Page A Sieger show is a European-style conformation show. At the national show, certain winners are given the classification of Sieger (male dog) or Siegerin (female dog). Who is allowed to enter? Boxers of all colors (brindles, fawns, white or check) that are registered and intact. Classes are broken down by color, age and gender. The country of origin, or style of boxer (ie: German, NA, UK, etc) does not matter, everyone is welcome. REQUIREMENTS to Enter the USA-BOX Sieger Show: 1. All dogs must have an FCI recognized registration and a three generation certified pedigree. An AKC registration and a certified AKC three generation certified pedigree is acceptable for the FCI requirement. 2. Must have a USA Box scorebook to enter the Show, and/or participate in the AD, ZTP and Korung. a. Scorebook cost $15.00 for USA Box member or $30.00 for non-member b. USA Box annual membership cost is $45.00 for individual membership, or $60.00 for family membership (those members who reside in the same house). c. With a USA Box scorebook you may enter the Show or the AD d. Must be USA Box member to enter the Breed Surveys (ZTP and/or Korung) 3. Must present original documents consisting of registration, pedigree and scorebook at the show check-in. Current USA Box membership card if applicable (for ZTP or Korung). 4. Mail entries early and with appropriate copies of documents. 5. Working class requires copy of scorebook entry showing SchH or IPO title earned. * 6. Veteran class: dogs and bitches must be 8yrs or older. Entries may be altered, but must have proof that dog was intact at 6 mos (males must have had two descended testicles). Please Note: Veteran Class entries cannot take part in the competition for National or Klub Sieger. 7. Bitches in whelp may not take part in USABOX trials, shows or competitions in the 30 days

2 prior to whelp (calculated from 63 days after 1st mating), nor may they take part 75 days after whelp (regardless of the outcome of whelping). 8. Cropped and docked Boxers born in the USA may be entered at the show..ears cropped, tails docked, haws removed, dew claws removed, on dogs that were born in a country where it is illegal to crop or dock etc. cannot be shown at USA-BOX shows. So should your dog be born in Denmark, flown here to the USA, then altered cosmetically, it is NOT eligible to be shown. If your dog was born in Canada and flown to USA, then cropped and docked, this is fine. Haw removal is not legal anywhere with regards to show entry. Please be aware of the regulation of the country of origin. Note: No day-of event entries will be taken. All entries must be listed in the show catalog. * The only titles that can move you to working class in Boxer shows are IPO. The lowest level that can move you to this is the IPO-VO. Herding, obedience, agility, French ring, mondioring, and/or tracking do not replace the IPO in any way. More Show Information: CLASSES: Divided into gender and color. Male and Female. Fawn, Brindle or White. Placements for 1st 4th. Classes offered: Baby class (the age of 3 to 6 months) Puppy class (age 6 to 9 months) Junior class (age 9 to 12 months) Young dogs class (age 12 to 18 months) Intermediate class (age from 15 to 24 months) Open Class (age above 15 months) Working class (age over 15 months, with a working class certificate (IPO title). A photocopy of working class certificate must be attached to the dog entry form and the official national canine society, AWDF, USABOX, FCI original must be presented on the request of USABOX delegate) Champion Class (age over 15 months for dogs with titles of international champion or national canine organization recognized by the FCI. The entry in Champion class does not apply to junior championships. A photocopy of championship and working class certificate must be attached to the dog entry form and the originals of official national canine society, AWDF, USABOX, FCI championship certificate and working class certificate (if applicable) must be presented on the request of USABOX delegate).

3 Veteran class (dogs and bitches who have over 8 years of age

4 AWARDS/TITLES: Sieger (male title) and Siegerin (female title) - separated by Youth and Adult. USA-BOX National Youth Sieger / Siegerin: There are 6 Youth USA-Box titles to award, one title for each sex and color to be chosen among the winners of baby, puppy, junior and young classes. USA-BOX National Sieger / Siegerin: There are 6 USA-Box titles to award champions: one title for each sex and color to be chosen among the winners of intermediate, open, working and champion classes. Breeding Group: At least 3 dogs bred by the same breeder with all of the dogs entered in the show (in the appropriate classes). Dogs cannot be part of multiple groups (ie: multiple breeders cannot claim the same dog) Progeny Group: Sire and Dam Groups: Must have at least 5 of his/her progeny with all of the dogs entered in the show. Dogs cannot be part of multiple groups ( ie: mother and father groups), must be one or the other. Breed Survey and Suitability Tests AD: Aus dauerprufung An endurance test performed by gaiting approximately 6 10 mph for about 12 miles. AD runs as follows: 5 miles, break and check of health of dog. 4 miles, break and check health of dog. 3 miles, check for health of dog and a little obedience. Minimum age of 16 months. Handler will need to secure a bicycle for AD test. ZTP: Zuchttauglichkeitsprufung or Breeding Suitability Test- An evaluation of a dog s temperament, character, and working ability. Minimum age of 12 months AND must have valid HIP Rating (BK Rating of A, B or C, or Final OFA rating of Excellent, Good, or Fair). Hip Scores must already be done when registering for the show. The original and 3 copies must be presented at check-in. Day-Of entries will be taken for ZTP may be entered, same requirements will be needed. Koerung B: A breed survey where participating dogs must have: Minimum of SchH 1 or IPO 1 Obtained a ZTP

5 Obtained an AD Valid HIP Rating (BK Rating of A or B OR OFA rating of Excellent or Good), Heart Test BK Rating of 0-1 Spondylosis BK Rating of 0-1 Height Requirements Met: Females 53cm to 59cm // males 57cm to 63cm. Eye color of 1a 1b 2a 2b 3a 3b.
