Limit: 100 Runs Per Day or 8 Hours of Judging Permission has been granted by the Barn Hunt Association, LLC for the holding of these barn hunt trials under BHA Rules and Regulations. Turn left (east) and MOTC is the first driveway on the left (north side) after the big white block warehouse. VOLUNTEER WORKER SIGN-UP Workers will be provided drinks and snacks. No prior experience needed-we can train you! We will accommodate all volunteers so there will be no conflicts with running your dogs. 3 Awards: Qualifying ribbons will be awarded for all qualifiers in all classes, including Instinct. Placement ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 4th place in Novice, Open, Senior and Master classes in each height division. Special Rosettes will be awarded to the Highest Scoring Boxer in Novice, Open, Senior and Master classes. New title rosettes will be awarded to those who obtain a new title in Novice, Open, Senior and Master. A special rosette will be awarded to those who earn a RATCH or RATCHX*. *If you anticipate earning a RATCH or RATCHX at our trial, please let us know so that we have your special prize available. 4 EXHIBITOR INFORMATION The rules for BHA Fun Tests and Trials can be obtained online at: All dogs must be on a short leash and under control while on trial grounds except while showing. Approved collars include flat snap or buckle collars of solid construction and leather or nylon leads. Limited slip martingale collars are allowed. Single piece slip collars/leads are allowed. Harnesses, with the exception of head- halter types, are allowed. Dogs MUST run naked, without a collar/harness. Collars/harnesses which can be easily and quickly removed and replaced are strongly encouraged. NO flexi-leads allowed. CHECK IN - REGISTRATION: Building will open at 8:30 AM. Judge s briefing will be at 9:15 AM. First run for the Trial will be at 9:30 AM. Classes will be run Instinct, Novice Trial 1, Novice Trial 2, Open Trial 1, Open Trial 2, Crazy 8s Trial 1, Crazy 8s Trial 2, Senior Trial 1, Senior Trial 2, Master Trial 1, Master Trial 2. A judging schedule will be sent via after entries close. If you do not have , please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope. HEIGHT DIVISIONS: Dogs 13" and under, Small; Dogs 13.1 to 18, Medium; Dogs over 18", Large RUNNING ORDER: Small to Large. Dogs will be run in height order with dogs being handled by the same person separated into different staged groups. Entries cannot be accepted, canceled, altered or substituted after the entries have closed. No entry will be accepted which carries any conditions regarding its acceptance. Declination of Entries. The Muncie Obedience Training Club, Inc., may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other cause and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Muncie Obedience Training Club, Inc. or any official thereof. Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The TRIAL SECRETARY will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. REFUNDS There will be no refunds for absent entries. Refunds will be made for withdrawn entries only if request is made prior to closing date. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of MOTC, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund or entry fee will be made. MOTC will not be responsible for loss or damage to property while on show site. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. The owner or handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready when its class is to be judged. Vehicles parked contrary to regulations will be subject to towing at owner's expense. All Handlers must pick up after their dogs. Anyone witnessed not cleaning up after their dogs will be requested to leave and no refunds given. The show site will open one hour prior to the start of the event and will close one hour after the event. All dogs must be kept on leash or crated at all times, except as allowed in the Show ring. NO FLEXI LEADS allowed inside the building. No smoking in buildings or within 10 feet of buildings ( reasonable distance per county code). Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, and any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Bitches in season are eligible for entry but will be required to be kept separate from all other dogs and will be run at the end of their class/trial. Entry fees for bitches that come into season will be refunded until closing time of the trial if you wish to withdraw. After the trial closes, entry fees will not be refunded. If bringing a bitch in season, please inform the trial secretary prior to the trial and inform all exhibitors at the judge s briefing. Move-Ups: Forms will be available at the Secretary s table. Previous trial move ups must be submitted no later than 6:00 pm 4/29/18 via or mail. Same day move ups must be submitted no later than 30 minutes before the start of the next trial.

5 AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that if this application for the entry of this dog is made available to me (us) for participation in a Barn Hunt event, that I (we) agree that this facility has the right to refuse the entry of this dog and/or they reserve the right to dismiss the dog and myself for cause which Barn Hunt deems to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this and the opportunity to train my dog(s), I (we) agree to hold harmless Barn Hunt Association, LLC, Muncie Obedience Training Club and all associates from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog or dogs while in or upon the premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for damage or injury to the dog or myself, either physically or mentally, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by negligence while in or upon the premises of the Barn Hunt grounds. The terms of this agreement bind the parties for the current period of training, and all subsequent classes/training/events in which they hereafter participate. I hereby authorize Barn Hunt Association LLC, and Muncie Obedience Training Club to use, reproduce, or publish, without compensation to me, any photographs or videos made pertaining to me or my dog at these trials. Said authorization is continuous unless specifically rescinded in writing by me.
