Be sure to go to the And vote on the shelter. We re hoping everyone will vote $250,000 and above. Let s get this shelter built and built right! We need everyone to write a letter or call these people that are opposed and let them know you want to see the new shelter built and you are against their actions. 2 Meet The Stars Jack is a 3-4 year old male Australian Shepard/Collie mix. He is sweet tempered and very smart. He know some commands. He is currently in a foster home. Inquiries, call Lindy (foster Mom) Because of the extra issues of the Pet News distributed at Corn School, we have printed the pictures of all the animals at the shelter as of 9/30/02. Let s see if there isn t a home for everyone of them! Please, ADOPT A PET. Biscuit is a Coon Hound/Mix around 8 months old. He is neutered and has his 1st shots and 6 month heartworm shot. He is very loving and wants to be underfoot all the time. He is pretty good with cats and he loves other dogs. He is full of energy, loves to run & play. He is doing very well on housebreaking, with some occasional lapses. He will probably need a fenced yard. He practices selective hearing! The Dinner & Auction will again be held at the American Legion in LaGrange. Scheduled for October 17, 2002 at 6:30 PM. Tickets will again be $10.00 per person. We ve got some great items scheduled for Auction and anticipate another good meal from the Legion! Mark the date on your calendars, October 17th! We ll also be doing a raffle for a quilt. Our Association s financial needs are all met by donations fund raising. We depend on the support of our fellow animal lovers to help us help the animals. We need them for animals rescued from the shelter waiting for adoption or foster homes. If you d like to get rid of them, we ll pick them up.
