After which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, altered or substituted, except as provided for in Chapter 14, Section 6, of the dog show rules. LIMITED ENTRY The judge will be limited to a total of eight hours of judging time per day. Entries will be taken in the order received and automatically close when time limit has been reached, even if this occurs before the official closing date. To charge to MasterCard/Visa: Best In Show Entries Entries On Time, Inc NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Arizona requires rabies vaccine every 3 years. Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the request of the owner, as a result of qualifying for a title at a different trial, provided the request, in writing (or ), is made to the Trial Secretary no later than noon the Monday before the trial. There will be move-ups Saturday to Sunday provided the request, in writing, is made to the Trial Secretary at least 29 minutes before the start of the judging at 8:00 am and if the judge has not reached the maximum dogs he/she may judge in his/her classes for that day. The safety of the dog is our primary concern. Any exhibitor entering this trial acknowledges that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. All persons attending this dog show hereby waive any claim for damages against the Cactus State Miniature Schnauzer Club or its members and the Trial Secretary in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. All dogs must remain on leash at all times when not warming up preparatory to going in the ring, or competing in the ring. Flexi leashes should be locked at a short length in close proximity to the rings, set-ups and fellow exhibitors. This includes when walking your dog in the park before, during or after show hours. The grass areas surrounding the event field, including those across the parking lots, are part of the show grounds. Not only can a violation incur sanctions under AKC regulations, but you might also be ticketed by park rangers. The judging will start promptly. During the hours of judging owners are to be on call and have their dogs ready to bring into the judging ring promptly in order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only be present for the judging of their class. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. Conflicts. We will try our best to accommodate conflicts, although we offer no guarantee that we can resolve them all. You can help by notifying the Obedience/Rally stewards as soon as possible regarding potential conflicts. Trophies and rosettes must be claimed the day of the show. No trophies will be mailed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, them, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e. age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed to AKC. (For complete rule refer to Chapter 14. Section 3.) 5. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners Program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC obedience and rally trials at the club s option. SET-UPS You can set up Saturday morning at 6:30 am. Limited shade is available. Overnight security will be provided Saturday night. However dogs, equipment or personal items left on Show Grounds are the responsibility of each exhibitor. Cactus State Miniature Schnauzer Club is not responsible for lost or stolen dogs or equipment. FOOD CONCESSION Food vendor will be on the show grounds between 10 am and 2 pm. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION The trial will be conducted under American Kennel Club Obedience and Rally Regulations. Fees must accompany entries. Express mailed entries MUST include signature permitting them to be left at the Event Secretary s address without recipient signature. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate and legible information on their entry forms. Entry fees are non-refundable except for bitches coming into season after the closing date will be eligible for a refund up to 75% of total entry fee paid. If, because of weather, riots, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the club, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no entry fees will be refunded. Exhibitors are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. There will be no refund of entry fee for exhibitors that are asked to leave the show site because of their dog or children creating unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engaging in unsafe behavior.
