Educational programs are open to all youth on an age appropriate basis, regardless of race, sex, color, handicap or disability, or national origin. 2 Salem County Thumpers Invite You to Join Us for our First Annual RABBIT, CAVY, and SMALL ANIMAL SHOW We hope you can join us for our first spring fun show, which will include a great chance to show your rabbits, cavies and small animals, as well as have a great day of family fun, with costume classes, coloring contests and fun activities the entire family can enjoy! Doors Open at 8:30 AM Day of Show entries must be entered by 9:30 AM *Judging will start promptly at 10AM* Entry Fee: $3.00 per animal pre-entry only. Entries must be postmarked by April 22 entries due by April 26. *No Exceptions* Day of Show/Late Fees: $5.00 per entry Make all checks payable to: Salem County Thumpers DAY OF SHOW QUESTIONS? Please call or text Food will be available: Breakfast, Lunch, and Refreshments! Have AUCTION ITEMS? We are accepting donations of gift baskets/items to support of our show s auction table. If you would like to donate, please contact Wendy Hankin and we can arrange to pick up the item(s) or bring any items the day of show.

3 1. This event is open to NJ 4-H members enrolled in the Rabbit, Cavy, and Small Animal projects. 2. Sick animals will be removed from the showroom immediately! Please check animals for colds, ear canker, mites, fleas, and any other health flaws before you come to the show. NO REFUNDS! 3. Cloverbud members can participate in a 4-H non-competitive exhibition class. They will receive a participation ribbon and a prize. The judge may give comments to encourage the children and to help them learn. 4. No smoking in the showroom or the show vicinity. 5. Cages must have leak proof, solid bottoms. 6. All rabbits and cavies must be marked in the left ear with their identification number either tattooed or permanent marker. 7. Small animals will be judged in their own cages. 8. All exhibitors must show their own animal and put the animal up on the show table. If assistance is needed, any of our older Thumper members will be happy to help please just ask! Remember, this is supposed to be a learning experience for youth. 9. This is a 4-H show and we will expect all youth to conduct themselves according to the 4-H code of conduct. Parents are responsible for their children s behavior. 10. Please be courteous of one another and share the space in the showroom. Please be aware when setting up your carriers so that they are not too close to the judging tables, as it does not allow easy access to the tables. 11. Salem County Thumpers will not be responsible for loss in event of fire, theft, or accident. Every possible precaution will be taken to eliminate any danger during the show. 12. Any live animals brought for auction with no bid will be returned to the original owner. JUDGING WILL BE BY A.R.B.A. Breed Standards. There will be NO judging for Best of Variety.
