5 Why do we want global guidance? Paris 2011 outcome: Provide guidance to the industry and authorities for pet food safety for pets consumption and human handling with focus on cats and dogs. or Vancouver 2012: Consider pet food from other regions as safe, only when a number of Safety/Regulatory requirements are implemented & maintained. To overcome trade barriers
