When you bring an AKK into your family, you are making a commitment to raise, train and care for your dog throughout its lifetime. The purpose of this questionnaire is twofold: it is designed to help you think through the factors involved in becoming an Alaskan Klee Kai puppy owner and to help me in our commitment to find the best possible family-puppy match as I sort through the queries and requests - which are inevitably many more than the number of puppies available. I agree to provide a daily routine of feeding, training, exercise, play, and nurturing. I agree to care for this dog humanely at all times, providing necessary medical care and regular check-ups. I agree to keep this dog in my possession and will not give it away, sell it to any person, pet store or puppy broker, or abandon it. If I must, for any reason, relinquish custody/ownership of the dog, I will give (not sell) it to an appropriate adoptee chosen in consultation with Roger Laycock or return it to Roger Laycock of KleeCan In-Home Breeding Program. I understand these conditions may not be waived without the written consent of Roger Laycock of KleeCan In-Home Breeding Program.
