Entries will be accepted on a FIRST RECEIVED basis. Entries close at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 Entries received without fees or correct fees will be returned to sender. Credit cards cannot be accepted. Make fees payable in US FUNDS. Trial Secretary assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. As this trial is limited, it is strongly suggested that a stamped, addressed return postcard accompany each entry so that each entrant knows quickly whether or not he/she made it into the trial. Entry form changes, additions, corrections and cancellations MUST be received in writing by the closing date. No telephone changes accepted. If you have a permanent or unexpired temporary height card, please attach a photocopy to back of entry form. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor s responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. MOVE-UPS Move-ups must be received by the Trial Secretary (ponytails48@aol.com) No later than 6:00 PM, Monday, September 8, Move-ups can be mailed or ed. No verbal move-ups will be accepted. Move-ups will be accommodated from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday. Move-ups on the day of the trial, must be in writing and received by the Trial Secretary no later than one half hour after the last class has ended. The trial is indoors on field turf The rings are fully gated Both rings measure 100 x 100 feet Smoking is prohibited in the Dome The building is Air Conditioned Exhibitors are responsible for picking up after their dog(s). It is in our rental contract that the site be free of debris and dog droppings. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site Saturday and Sunday. RV parking is available. At the bottom of the exit turn left. Get into the right lane and drive approximately ½ mile. Island Sports Center is on the right just before the Coraopolis Bridge. It is the BIG WHITE DOME! FROM THE WEST: Route 60 South past the Airport. Get off ramp for 60South at Robinson Towne Center and stay on that road for another 4 miles until you come to I-79 North to Erie. I-70 N to exit #65 Neville Island. Turn left at the end of the ramp and the dome will be on the right straight ahead. FROM PITTSBURGH: Route #65 North, past Emsworth to the junction of I-79. Take the W ashington Exit to I-79 (South). First exit on the bridge is Neville Island. Turn left at the end of the ramp and the dome is on the right straight ahead. Entries NOT on Official AKC Agility Entry Forms or Photocopies of Entry Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. No Online entries will be accepted. Express Mail Entries *must* include signature permitting them to be left at the Secretary's address without recipient's signature. If no recipient is present to sign receipt, entries may be returned to the sender. Post Dated or Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Secretary will add a collection fee of $25.00 to the amount of each returned check. Declination of Entries. Beaver County Kennel Club, Inc., may decline any entries and may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or other cause and no one shall have any claim against BCKC or any official thereof. No Entry Shall be Made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance Entries Will Be Acknowledged After Entries Close with confirmation letter and Judging Program. Should such acknowledgment not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the Secretary. Entry Fees Shall Not Be Refunded in the event that a duplication of enter of the same dog, a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Judge, or barred from competition by action of Agility Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Exhibitors Must Be Governed by Any Rules or Regulations of civil authorities, the RMU Island Sports Center, Beaver County Kennel Club and their respective show committees and/or location restrictions. Dogs Must be Ready for Judging. The Club will not be responsible and is not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. All Dogs Present must be Held on Leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or in the warm-up area. The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering these trials, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. Exhibitors Alone are Responsible for the Behavior of Their Dogs and/or Children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show Site. In such case, no refund of any entry fees paid will be made. Beaver County Kennel Club Opts Out of the arbitration provision on the back of the Official AKC Entry Form for this event. Aggressive dogs or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance may not enter this trial. Bitches in season are not eligible to compete. Bitches in season and injured dogs are eligible for refunds with veterinarian confirmation. $10 will be retained from entry fee per day/per dog. Vet Certificate must be mailed to trial secretary with postmark of at least the day before trial or presented to trial secretary prior to commencing of judging on Friday in order to receive refund. All refunds will be mailed. PRIZES AND AWARDS Rosettes will be awarded to first through fourth place dogs in each jump height and in each class. Qualifying ribbons will be awarded to all dogs receiving a qualifying score in each titling class. Title rosettes will be awarded to all dog/handler teams finishing a title. A MACH bar will be awarded to the team receiving a MACH title. A plush toy ($1 to $4) will be awarded to first through fourth place qualifiers in each jump height in each titling class. Dogs MUST have qualifying scores to be eligible for prizes. All rosettes and ribbons must be claimed at the trial. NONE will be mailed
