3 **REFUNDS - GANG will issue a refund of entry fees for dogs that are in season or lame, If your hound comes in season or becomes lame before the Trial, and you will not be attending Trial for these reasons, you must call the Trial Secretary BEFORE Roll Call otherwise you forfeit your entry fees! General Information Dogs of these breeds recorded with the Purebred Alternative Listing Program/Indefinite Listing Privilege (PAL/ILP) or dogs with Conditional registration are eligible to participate. Spayed and neutered dogs are eligible to participate. Monorchid and cryptorchid dogs are ineligible to participate. Bitches in season are not eligible to participate. Hounds with breed disqualifications, as listed in the AKC Breed Standards, are ineligible to enter lure coursing trials and tests. Dogs with Limited Registration are eligible to participate. All entries must be at least one year of age the day of Trial Stakes will be split if 20 or more entries are present in any one stake at the time of the draw. Hounds not present at time of Roll Call will be scratched and entry fees will NOT be refunded. Battery-powered, continuous loop lure machines will be used with back-up equipment available. The lure will consist of light and/or light colored plastic Muzzles are not required: It is the responsibility of the owners to determine if the hound should be muzzled IMPORTANT Facility Information This trial will be held at Chattahoochee Hills Eventing. CHE is an 8,000-acre equestrian eventing estate that run 12 miles along the Chattahoochee River. Convenient to the Atlanta Airport and downtown Atlanta. PLEASE NOTE: Horses and Riders have the Right of Way!! Drive SLOWLY. Once you have turned onto the farm you will then be directed to a narrow 1 lane gravel/dirt road. Please park in designated areas only, Attention drivers of RVs: The road to the field is narrow and has overhanging branches. Large RV s will NOT fit!. Please call the Field Trial Chairman to inquire about parking area/directions. If you need to park away from the field a shuttle will be provided for you and your dogs. NO HOOK-UPS Please bring your own shade and water. There will be portable toilets available DO NOT put poop bags in the toilet!!! AKC TEST The JUNIOR COURSER TEST is open to all hounds of an eligible breed. A hound running alone shall receive a certification from a judge on one date and a second certification from a different judge at a later date, stating that the hound completed at least a 600 yard course with a minimum of four turns. The hound must complete the course with enthusiasm and without interruption. ***It is recommended that Junior Courser hounds entering the open stake for the first time have successful practice experience with other hounds before competing*** Stakes Offered AKC TRIAL STAKES OPEN: Open to all hounds of an eligible breed that have attained at least one of the following: AKC Junior Courser Title, ASFA Field Champion Title, CKC Field Champion Title, and AKC Field Champion Title. Championship points may be awarded from this stake. OPEN VETERAN: Open to all hounds, which are eligible to enter either Open or Special Stake, and are of Veteran age as determined by their Parent Breed Club. Championship or LCX points may be awarded from this stake. SPECIAL: Open to all hounds that are eligible to enter the Open stake and have earned their AKC Field Championship titles. LCX points may be awarded from this stake. Hounds under disqualification from AKC, ASFA, or CKC Field Trials may NOT be entered. NOTICES A penalty of $5.00 will be assessed for any loose hounds not competing in the course in progress A return check fee of $.00 will be assessed for any check(s) returned for insufficient funds. GANG assumes no liability for injury to any person or dog before, during or after these trials. Please bring your own shade, beverages, and water. Fun Runs will be offered after both test and trial competitions are complete and as time of daylight permits. $5.00 each. LUNCH Food will be available for purchase at the field. Care of the Grounds Kindly enter the field at the area only. Parking areas will be clearly marked. Please clean up after your hounds. Smokers please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. There will be a $15 fine levied on all smokers leaving cigarette butts on the grounds or people caught not cleaning up after their dogs!!

Lure Coursing Trial Course plans FIELD CONDITIONS The field is grass, which has been occasionally mowed. It is a hayfield and is not perfectly groomed, but it is primarily level.
