NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS REGARDING CORRECTION OR CHANGES TO ENTRIES: The specific changes listed in Chapter 11, Section 6 (i.e. sex of dog, transfers between age specific regular classes and move-ups to BOV or BOB) of the Dog Show Rules are the only changes to the entries superintendents or secretaries are authorized to make after closing of entries. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry or

If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other acts beyond the control of the Club or Show Secretary it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE will be charged for all cancellations or changes made prior to closing of entries. Because of the cost of processing, no refunds under $5.00 will be made. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES is 12:00 pm (Pacific Time) Wednesday, September 13, 2017 after which time entries cannot be accepted, canceled or changed, except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. Should such acknowledgment not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the Event Secretary at the above address or at romarot@gmail.com or by telephone at (530) POST DATED AND RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. The returned check MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BEFORE the dog(s) will be allowed in the ring. Any person that issues a check that is returned for non-payment will be required to pay a fine of $25 per check and all items for which check or checks were issued shall then be paid by cash, money order or cashier s check. CONDITIONAL, UNSIGNED, INCOMPLETE, or entries received without fees will not be accepted. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors on entry blanks and for entering the same dog twice. No refunds for duplicate entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $5.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries. ENTRIES NOT ON OFFICIAL AKC FORMS or photocopies of entry forms without rules and agreement on reverse side of Official AKC entry form are NOT acceptable. Entries submitted in the form of telegrams or by telephone, cannot be accepted. TO BE ACCEPTABLE an entry must be submitted with required entry fee on an Official American Kennel Club entry form. CHANGES, ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS to entry forms must be received in writing prior to the close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. AN AKC RECORDING FEE of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 will be required for each first entry and $3.00 for each additional entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for junior showmanship, sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, obedience/rally nonregular classes, or special attractions.) Attention Exhibitors The AMERICAN ROTWEILER CLUB does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official American Kennel Club entry form for this show. THE SHOW SITE will be available to exhibitors at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 28, THE SURFACE of the show grounds is grass with some shade trees. TENTS AND/OR CANOPIES shall only be placed in areas designated by the Bonanza Kennel Club of Carson City. NO CRATES, grooming tables or exercise pens allowed within 10 feet of rings. ONLY DOGS THAT ARE ELIGIBLE to be shown under the American Kennel Club rules shall be allowed within the show premises. ALL DOGS SHALL BE kept on leash except when in the exercising, obedience, or rally ring. THERE SHALL BE NO drilling, nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the show grounds or premises.

7 DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The Club and its Show Secretary will not be responsible and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave immediately thereafter, unless required for further judging. THE CLUB reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. ALL TROPHIES must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed or otherwise distributed. THE WELFARE OF AN EXHIBITOR S CHILD is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the days of the shows. THE CLUB, ITS EVENT SECRETARY, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, ETC., WILL USE DUE CARE AND DILIGENCE FOR THE WELFARE OF DOGS AND EXHIBITORS, BUT WILL ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY SUSTAINED BY EXHIBITORS, HANDLERS, OR TO ANY OF THEIR DOGS OR PROPERTY PARTICIPATING IN THESE SHOWS, AND FURTHER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR INJURY TO CHILDREN AT THESE SHOWS. ATTENTION! NO DOG SHOW PARKING IS ALLOWED IN THE COSTCO PARKING LOT Parking can be found in the east & west lots at Fuji Park Only valid handicap permits will be allowed in handicap parking. Vehicles in unloading zone must be left running. 4 6 Month (Beginner Puppy) Competition Judge: Mrs. Jeanne D. Zuver One combined class will be offered for Rottweilers that are (4) four months of age & under (6) six months of age the day of the event. There will be a selection of Best 4 & Under 6 Months Puppy in Breed, and Best Opposite Sex. Entry and Eligibility requirements include: AKC registration number or an AKC litter number will be required for entries of an AKC recognized breed as listed in Chapter 3, Section 1 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. A foreign-born dog may enter this class if they are registered in the country of origin. All entrants are to be vaccinated (including rabies) in accordance with their veterinarian s protocol. Dogs that are owned or co-owned by a professional handler may compete in this class, but must be handled by a non-professional handler. Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay within the last five years. Dogs may not be exhibited by current assistants and household members of a professional handler. Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standard disqualifications such as color, height, weight or dentition shall not be a point of consideration in the judging process for this 4 & Under 6 Months Puppy in Show Competition. Entry Fee: $15.00 (including AKC recording fee of $2.00 for each dog. These fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.) Entries will close Wednesday 12:00 PM, September 13, CLASSIFICATION - CLASSES COMBINED Puppy, 4 & under 6 months NO PUPPIES UNDER THE AGE OF SIX (6) MONTHS, EXCEPT THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE 4-6 MONTH PUPPY COMPETITION, MAY BE ON THE GROUNDS. Notice Waiver of Rights Please DO NOT LEAVE ANY DOGS IN CLOSED VEHICLES. Do not leave your dogs in unlocked cars. If any dog is seen to be suffering from extreme temperatures where it is confined without supervision a Nevada Humane Officer, or a Security Officer, will be notified to handle the situation. Violators may be reported to the Event Committee for disciplinary action. All persons attending these events herby waive any claim for damages against the club or its members, in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or improperly vented conditions.

Spayed and neutered animals are eligible. Winners of the above Non-Regular Single Dog classes, if otherwise undefeated, are eligible to compete for Best of Breed. Best of Breed Competition: The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs that according to their owners records have completed the requirements for a Championship but whose Championships are unconfirmed. The showing of dogs whose Championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a Championship according to the owner s records. AKC Select Dog and Bitch and ARC Awards of Merit will be awarded following Best of Breed. ARC Award of Merit (AOM): All dogs eligible for the Best of Breed Competition shall be considered for these awards. At the discretion of the intersex judge, the maximum number of Award of Merit Awards that may be given shall be 10% of the Best of Breed entry, including Veterans and Winners Dog/Bitch. That 10% with no consideration to sex, is in addition to the ones automatically given Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed winners and the AKC Grand Championship Select Dog and Bitch (if awarded). AKC Select Awards: Two can be given Select Dog & Select Bitch award is at discretion of the judge. Best Puppy from the Regular Classes and Best Bred by Exhibitor Classes: Winners of Best Puppy or Best Bred by Exhibitor are not, by right of winning this award eligible to compete for Best of Breed. NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES (The winners of these Classes will NOT be eligible to compete for Best of Breed) Stud Dog Class* For Stud with two Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. The owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC Policy, or the standard for its breed. The Get only will be judged based on their merits. Get must be entered and shown in a Regular or Non-Regular Class. Use the space for Additional Entry. Brood Bitch Class* Same as for the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. *Chapter 11, Section 8: of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows provides that a castrated male may be

10 entered as a Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed female may be entered as a Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class. Junior Showmanship Novice Class - For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at licensed or member show. Open Class - For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show, with competition present. Master Class - For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won 10 first place wins in Open class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class competition. Junior Handlers must include their AKC Junior Handler identification number on the entry blank. You may obtain your number by calling AKC Event Records Department (919) or juniors@akc.org Each Dog Entered Must be the Breed for Which the Show is Held Notice: Be sure all information for Junior Showmanship Classes is entered on front and back of the entry form. By signing the entry from, certification is given that the Junior Showman does not now, and will not at any time, act as an agent/handler for pay while continuing to compete in Junior Showmanship. Sweepstakes & Veteran Sweepstakes Judge: Danielle Green The Sweepstakes is open to all Rottweilers who are 6 months and under 24 months of age on the day of the show. All dogs entered in Sweepstakes must also be entered in a Regular Class. Champions of Record are NOT eligible. Sweepstakes will be judged prior to the Regular Classes. SPECIFIC SWEEPSTAKES CLASS MUST be given on entry blank in space marked Additional Class - state class, as Sweepstakes Dog or Bitch and proper age classification. Entry fee is $15. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American K ennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event and entry form and any decision made in accord with them.
