Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing or by telegram prior to the close of entries. Changes which are received on the telephone are unacceptable. ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, in season, excused by the veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the show committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, Act of God, act of a public enemy, strikes, or any other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee(s) will be made. DECLINATION OF ENTRIES: The club may decline any entry for cause and may refuse to receive, or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the club or any official thereof. DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave immediately after unless required for further judging. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The club and/or its Show Secretary will not be responsible for, and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or their agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring Effective for all shows held on or after July 1, 1991, dogs may be moved FROM ONE DIVISION OF THE PUPPY CLASS TO ANOTHER or a CORRECTION TO THE SEX OF A DOG may be made, or a dog, which according to their owners' records have completed the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is made by the Show Secretary one half hour prior to the start of any regular conformation judging at the show. (American Kennel Club Rules, Chapter 14, Section 6.) There are no provisions for un-entered dogs at this show, so please do not bring any dogs not entered. CHALLENGE TROPHY The friends of Arwen, Loren & Mary Chiever offer the Arwen-Chiever Memorial Challenge Trophy. The trophy is to be given to the female that wins either Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex. For permanent possession, this trophy must be won three times by the same owner(s), not necessarily with the same dog and not at consecutive shows. This trophy will remain in the custody of the donors until retired. The winner will receive a plaque. BEST OF BREED PERPETUAL TROPHY The Chancellor Perpetual Trophy is also offered for Best of Breed by Wendi Lewellen & Jamie Tingle. For permanent possession, this trophy must be won three times by the same owner(s), not necessarily with the same dog, and not at consecutive shows. All dogs shown in the Sweepstakes MUST also be entered in one of the regular classes. Indicate your sweepstakes class with the age on the Entry Form. CLASSIFICATIONS REGULAR CLASSES The following classes are divided by sex: Puppy (6 months/under 9 Months) Puppy (9 months/ under 12 Months) Dogs & Bitches (12 months/under 18 months) Novice Bred by Exhibitor American Bred Open Winners NON - REGULAR CLASSES - involving single entries: classes are divided by sex: Veterans (7 years and older) - May be spayed or neutered Best of Breed Competition Best Puppy from the Regular Classes Best Bred by Exhibitor NON - REGULAR CLASSES - involving multiple dog entries Stud Dog Class: For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. The award will be based on the merits of the Get. The owner of the Stud Dog need not be the owner of the Get. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Record, in the Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog MUST appear in the ring with his Get. The Stud Dog Class shall be considered as one entry and requires one entry fee. This being the First Entry Fee plus the Additional Entry Fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. A First Entry Fee for the Stud Dog Class if not entered in a regular class or Best of Breed Competition. The Additional Entry Fee is for the unit. Brood Bitch Class: Same as Stud Dog Class. Substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. Brace Class: Two dogs of the same breed with identical ownership regardless of sex. Dogs may be entered for Brace competition ONLY for First Entry Fee per dog. If the Brace Class is an additional entry, then the Additional Entry Fee is for the unit. In making entries for Brace Class Only, full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in another class and entered as part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space for additional classes. If more than one brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising each brace must be so designated, Brace#1, Brace#2, etc. As the judge s decision in the Stud Dog, Brood Bitch and Brace Classes is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged First Place in these classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of a breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the particular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13 in. over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), Bull Terriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy). Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels (King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard). 2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division. color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
